The clamp is pretty strong but in hot weather it loosens pretty easily
I have been looking for a product to hold my phone in my car that wasn't permanent and that had a strong contact point to the vehicle. I have ordered other phone mounts for my vehicle and all of them have either fallen off from where they were attached or broke. I thought I would give this product a try and actually ordered a second one after the first one broke within a month. I thought this would be heavy duty and stay attached the vehicle. The clamp is pretty strong but in hot weather it loosens pretty easily. Also if you hit any bumps, the clamp comes loose and the mount and phone can just fall off. The gooseneck joints are made of plastic and thats where this product gets two stars. The gooseneck is very flimsy and constantly needed to be readjusted when you attach your phone due to the weight. I was using an Apple 6S so its not the biggest phone. The first time I broke it I accidentally snapped the gooseneck off from the clamp. I thought I must have hit it too hard so I figured I would try and order a second one. This time my girlfriend was riding in the passenger seat with me and she also accidentally hit it and the middle of the gooseneck snapped in half. This product has been better than the previous car mounts I have ordered but the cheap plastic is its biggest weakness. I would not recommend this product

Great product!
I have been using magnet mounts to hold my iPhone and iPad for about a year and have been looking for a jaw clamp for awhile. This is so versatile it can clamp to just about anything. I would have gave it a perfect rating but for the sticker covering the magnet itself. It's kind of cheesy- but well worth it.

Don't buy this thing
This work fine for about 2 days and then the phone wouldn't stay upright anymore because the screw became too loose. It's definitely cheap junk.

Don’t buy!
Plastic knob twisted off right out of the package. Plastic nut to tighten the magnet down broke upon first use. What a piece of garbage. Not even worth .25¢
