Fascinating book and the engineering that occurred to effect the Dome was incredible for the time.The blood sweat and tears the workers encountered were graphical described.

Bought it for my nephew who was studying architecture in a major college. He had travelled through a lot of Italy just the year prior to starting college and fell in love with Florence. He loved the book.

En definitiva un libro muy amable en su lectura, hace un recuento interesante de la vida del arquitecto y los diferentes retos que tuvo que superar para llegar a completar una de las más icónicas obras de la arquitectura renacentista. Lo recomiendo mucho para aquellos que quieran tener mayor cultura sobre el Duomo de Florencia y sobre la vida de Brunelleschi.

Beautifully detailed and well set out in plain and simple language. Needs to be read a few times to remember all the details but its an enjoyable read. Recommended.
