Great little RC
This is a great little RC car for beginners or experienced drivers. Good fun for drifting/ rally type driving. It's worth investing in more batteries as drive time is 20 minutes or less.

Professional RC drifting fun in a 1/16 scale truck
This is a fantastic little 1/16 scale RC drift truck. I've wanted one of these for ages as I'm big into my RC cars, drones, planes and other vehicles. I couldn't turn this down whilst it was on offer for £31.99 via a lightning deal and voucher. The car itself is constructed very well. It's all pre-built to a professional standard. The chassis is built on a sturdy base, with spring shocks (not oil filled, but no real advantage at this size and due to the drift nature of the car). This has a 380 brushed motor. It's small, but seems powerful. There are also 3 different speed levels, which are adjustable via the 3 point switch on the controller. The shell looks really cool and has lights built in. These are adjustable via the 4th channel on the controller. Each click runs through different settings; white headlights in, red halo lights on, both on and all off.The standard road tyres and wheels come fitted, but you also have a set of hard plastic drift wheels. There's also a wheel spanner, spare steering parts, pins, etc.One 1200mAh li-ion battery is included. These don't seem to be available at present on Amazon, but can be picked up for around £10 in most RC car stores if you want a spare. There's also a fancy looking usb charger included. This is far better than the basic type normally included with these types of RC vehicle. The only annoying thing I found (not worth dropping a star) was the fact that the shell has protective plastic fitted, which needs to be removed. You can only do this if you fully unscrew the lights and spoiler to get to it.The steering is really responsive and can be adjusted in range on the transmitter. Likewise, the full size transmitter has all functions for adjustment and trim that any other professional setup has.Overall, I'm certainly not disappointed with this RC drift car. Having a built in gyro in it allows for great drifting fun, which can be adjusted on the transmitter. I like that it also doesn't activate the gyro until it's moving, this saving battery life. The drift wheels are best used indoors or on a carpeted track, but do still give a good drift on smoother outdoor areas, including tarmac. Realistically, however, I'll likely be using this more with the standard rubber tyres for racing around smaller tracks with friends.Update: my only slight complaint is that this doesn't have a heatsink on the 380 motor. After a couple of minutes of running outside on a cold carpark the motor heats up and the thermal cut off kicks in. You have to then switch it off and on to reset it. I've had to order a separate heatsink to install on it, which should help keep the temperature down.Update:There seems to be an issue with the ESC. It'll run for about a minute, then drops down to the slowest speed. I've bought another battery, however it's the same issue. It's not the motor as it's not getting hot. It's like it's dropping into recovery mode when sensing the battery is dropping power.

Semi pro remote control car
This car still belongs to my 4-year-old (officially it is) but my husband plays with it more often. In my opinion, this is a semi-pro remote control car. My 4-year-old can use it, but not to the full extent. Not sure that my husband can do that too :) The car has many different options to control, such as steering and throttle sensitivity. The remote control is very ergonomic and easily fits into one's palm. The controls are sensitive and can be learned quickly. The car is durable. Very durable I must say. The whole chassis is solid and protected with some sort of plastic material, that does not just form a body, but also, makes this car very bump-proof. It just absorbs all the bumps, scratches and whatever else is thrown at it, or should I say wherever else the car crashes into. Even if driven through deep puddles, the car still runs. Not that I advise to, but accidents do happen. The car has two sets of tyres, that are very easy to replace. The road tyres and the off-road ones. Off-road type does make a difference in the park or garden, but the road ones, I do not think they make the car go faster on the concrete surface. However, the car is fast, very very fast. This is certainly a lovely toy for an adult child :)

Great Fun (14 Years+ Age)
The media could not be loaded. This is great fun and if you are getting as a present for someone you will need 4 x AA's for the controller and charge up the lithium battery in the car with the provided USB powered charger (instructions say charging should be monitored for safety reasons). The charger has charging and charged indications. No real assembly required and the instructions are very detailed also listing all the parts with part numbers (not sure how easy parts are to obtain, they have a website detailing this and other models they make but not much sign of spares).Anyway, on normal road surface it goes really well with all wheel drive.I did try and video it but trying to hold a smartphone in one hand and operate the controller is not easy.It comes with another set of tyres and the clips that hold the shell on.Range seems good, their website says 60 metres with 15 minutes of operation time.I like it and can't find a single negative point (except maybe spare parts).

Great fun high performance remote control car
This is an incredibly fun remote control car that is relatively easy to drive has some really high end features and is super fast. The car comes with a battery that needs to be installed into the car, this is quite intimidating as the car without the chassis on given all of the visible wiring and parts. The manual has nice and straightforward instructions on what you need to do and that really helps. The controller requires 4 AA batteries to power and these are not included, the control is pretty easy to use, a trigger for the power and then a small wheel to steer which works well. The car is very fast, it is definitely not intended for driving around the house, unless you have a huge house, if you have a park or big paved area you can drive it on then it will be perfect for that though.
