Feels like a new room. The lighting was vastly improved by these bulbs. The CFLs I had don't compare.

I wish I had known these existed earlier! I cannot get over how the lighting changes the whole room! Absolutely amazing! I've changed out the lights throughout the house....... it's truly lightning like daylight ! Things are much clearer .

Haven't lost a plant

I've purchased the $5+ name brand LED bulbs. I've sent many in under warranty after just a couple months. These have lasted 3 years so far in the same fixtures without problems. Less expensive to boot.

The bulbs have a bright white light, not as warm as others of the same color temperature that I have bought, but they are bright. The one problem I discovered is that the bulbs have a white base covering that extends from the metal base quite high up the bulb. The effect is that light shines brightly from only the top of the bulb and is blocked from shining toward the bottom. Most other LED bulbs I have used have a smaller base covering, allowing for a more uniform distribution of light. These bulbs would be fine for up (e.g., table lamp) or down lighting (e.g., desk lamp) but they are less desirable for say ceiling mounted fixtures because the light only shines in one direction and the other direction is quite dark producing a "half-lit" look to the fixtures which is not practical or aesthetically pleasing. I would not recommend these for ceiling mount fixtures.

These light bulbs are only 6 Watt bulbs not the advertised 10Watts. it is a blatant lie to advertise them as equivalent to 100 watts, if that were the case my light bulbs would be 10 watt not 6W.The bulbs I received are equivalent to 60 watts not 100 W.Unfortunately it will be a lot of hassle to return them and they do work but shame on you Amazon for telling the public that these bulbs are equivalent to 100 watt incandescent bulbs, it is simply not true.Buy them at your own risk.

Only received 40 watt equivalent bulbs. Took over a week to come with prime. Sent the first set back only to receive another set of 40 watt a week later. The second set had a smaller sticker that said it was 100 watt, but the bigger product sticker says 40 watt on it. Opened it up and yeah, 40 watt.I don't like to gamble, and this is a gamble. If you get the right product, grats.

They're lightbulbs, they work, they shipped quickly. The light they give off is a warm white, which we prefer. That being said, we not at all happy with this product.With all the very obvious talk about environmental awareness, global warming etc, we would prefer to use LED bulbs AND shop online. Sadly, Amazon is sure not doing its part for the environment.Not only are these bulbs nearly 100% PLASTIC, each also comes individually wrapped in - you guessed it - MORE PLASTIC. Absolutely unnecessary, and a flagrant middle finger to anyone who happens to care about the fact that the planet has gone to environmental hell.Thanks very much, Jeff Bezos. While the rest of us die above ground, you can hide in your spiffy new underground bunker, paid for by your customers.Unlikely this review will see the light of day, as usual, as it's critical of Amazon & its operations.

I picked up some 100w equivalen bulbs at 2700k (the yellowish colour) from a major store in person. they worked fine, but I wanted to add a single natural white light to the mix to get a more study focused vibe. I realized that the 100w 5000k on amazon are much cheaper than in store. So decided to try.They are VERY bright. Perfect if you want to light a room well. The colour/temp of these is whiteish, like natural sunlight. They work well in bathrooms, offices, outdoors, and in you garage. If you want a more mellow livingroom/dining room vibe get the 2700k or 3000k variant (which are a more yellow tone).There is a very evident difference in brightness between these and a 40w or 60w equivalent. Yet still quite low power consumption. No buzzing noises, no flickering. Longevity I cannot speak to yet, but so far so good!
