Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Base Light 44 Foundation

This lion has always been my favorite from Cavallon the covers of any imperfections. It’s thick, but it’s not oily. It covers. All imperfections lasts through sweat and daily life as a mom who’s always on the go I only have to apply at once.(I also y use her primer) . And it’s hard finding a good line that works with versatile skin types- for myself I can go from really really dry skin to super oily skin and all times this product never fails. I’m certain that this line was discontinued but I’m hoping she comes back with it. I normally go with the 44 but being that inch is a discontinued. It’s hard finding that but the 46 I think is even better for my skin tone. Such quick shipping I ordered one night received next afternoon !

I bought this for this first time a little over a year ago at Sephora in Times Square. I automatically fell in love. I have VERY oily skin, so oily it's to the point my makeup literally just slides off my face within four hours. This doesn't last the fully claimed 24 hours, but I would say it lasts around 16. I also have suffered from severe acne for years, and this not only covered my acne and acne scars beautifully, I honestly do believe it has calmed my acne down a TON. It has a very pretty matte finish, and I do NOT go out in public without at least foundation and powder on and just one bottle of this lasts me 6 months. I will never even consider switching foundations ever again.

The foundation does a great job of hiding imperfections, redness, and discoloration. A little bit really goes a long way with this foundation which I love, it goes on easily and doesn't feel like it's suffocating your skin if you don't cake it on. As a guy who does drag quite a lot I found this foundation to be my favorite both in and out of drag, It hides my dark circles, blemishes , and shadows better than any other foundation has before and I don't have to end up reapplying it every couple of hours. Of course it still looks like you're wearing foundation but it's not as chalky, runny or light as other foundation and is definitely worth the money.

This makeup is fantastic , the color was a little late for me in the summer , but will be perfect for my winter shade . Right now looks great once I contour and blush . This make up last all day . The coverage is fantastic ! Even if I fall asleep with it on it does not rub off on my clothes or my pillows . It feels lite , I never feel like I'm even wearing make up at all . Well worth the price . This is my new favorite foundation !

Wish I would have gotten one shade darker but other then that fantastic coverage and this one bottle will most likely last me a while because you literally need only a drop or two for full coverage! Matte finish, I spray with Urban Decay's setting spray and it looks great!

This was disappointing. I was really excited to receive this foundation because I’ve heardsuch good things about it and I need a permanent foundation to go with. My skin is combination and pale. This foundation looked so good when I put it on and I was super happy but then later on, about twenty mins later I looked in the mirror and my skin was completely orange. The brightest orange I have ever had happened to my skin from a foundation. It was so bad. I tried it again with the lock it primer to see if it was better... no. Still the same bright orange and the primer made me really greasy. So I’m just never going to buy Kat Von D products unless it’s eyeliner and lipstick.

This foundation is my go-to when I want full coverage. It goes on smoothly, and covers any imperfections on the skin. It is a little thick, so if you're just looking for a lighter cover up, I wouldn't use this one. But I absolutely would recommend this for anyone who needs full coverage! I wish it wasn't so expensive, but I have to say, I use it almost daily and it has lasted me a long time because you don't need to use a lot of product!

I've been using this foundation for a couple years and I LOVE it. perfect for dull coverage without without that caked in feeling. lasts forever because such a small amount covers my entire face and is the only foundation I've ever tried that leaves an almost flawless finish. the picture is after a day 1/2 of applying once.. seriously a must buy
