After a couple days of looking for a new bedding, this one was a top contender. Some of the reviews about this item states that they were 'itchy' and 'thin'; however, I think otherwise. These sheets probably aren't the 'cooling' sheets you're wanting that you can purchase at Walmart; however they are pretty 'cool' when I'm going to bed. Softness I would rate at 4.5, it's slightly itchy in the beginning but now it's just completely soft. I think there's a break-in period.

For the cost these are nice sheets. After washing them for the first time using a mixture of baking soda and vinegar in the wash they are REALLY soft. They actually feel like a much higher thread count than Bedsure says they have (180) - they feel more like 400+…but only time will tell if they pill.. They’re a nice weight…don’t find them to be heavy at all. The pillowcases have an envelope closure which is a nice “upgraded” feature. I really like that they’re Oeko-Tex certified - but nowhere on any of the packaging or tags on the sheets are they labeled organic…makes me believe that’s likely not true as advertised, and that’s the reason I’m only giving a 4 star rating.

I was amazed that the top sheet had a long tail. Most top sheets I have purchased in the past had almost no tail. As a result, they would not stay tucked in. With this sheet set, I could actually make hospital corners.The fitted sheet was very deep for deep pocket mattresses.All in all, I would recommend these sheets to anyone who likes 100% cotton sheets.Suzy

Have to iron wrinkles out of top sheet and pillow cases

These sheets are super heavy like the weight of denim and they are hot. You don’t need additional cover with these sheets. I would have given the 5 stars if the had not been so heavy. The wash good don’t wrinkle they have a shiny finish and are very soft. They definitely are for winter and I would like these better than flannel. I have never seen sheets this thick and I am 68 years.
