Small yet efficient; slightly odd on/off mechanism
Nice little light!Pros:1.) Brighter than I was expecting, and has 3 brightness modes (4 with the strobe setting)2.) Slim, lightweight profile; a little slimmer and a couple cm shorter than my index finger. Aluminium body looks tough, even though the light weighs barely more than the weight of the AAA battery itself).3.) Pocket clip!! (I keep the light on my keychain, but I like having the option to do that for situations when I keep my keys put away, or for example if I’m hiking and want a mini headlamp. Clip fits perfectly on a baseball cap)4.) Takes a generic AAA battery. I have a pretty huge flashlight collection, and while I love my bright lights that use a 18650 rechargeable battery, the ones that will never let you down are the ones you know you can easily find batteries for).5.) Comes in a cool little Altoid-style tin with 2 backup O-rings.CONS:1.) The on/off mechanism is just plain weird and inconvenient, and I feel like it’s going to accidentally get turned on if you have a bunch of things right next to it in your pocket. It requires you to twist the head (where the bulb is), and to switch modes you need to twist it off then on for every mode change. Not that the flashlight advertises itself as waterproof, but if you were to drop most non-waterproof flashlights on a rainy day you wouldn’t have to worry too much. *However* because to keep it in the off position it needs to open up the seal past the point where the O-ring protects, which means this flashlight really is susceptible to water/moisture when it’s turned off.2.) The strobe mode only works on occasion, and this is again, caused by the on/off mechanism being so finicky.

Highest light output for its size you can buy
I have been buying the ITP A3 (CREE XP-G2) since it first came out about 2 years ago and its previous product with substantially lower lumen output for several years before that. I needed a very rugged durable and reliable light that I could easily carry in my pants pocket and would be small weigh a few ounces at the max. It needed to be made of aluminum to have these characteristics. Searching through Amazon I came across its previous model and found it was exactly what I had been looking for. It is less than 1/2 the size of comparable LED lights that produce the same or greater max lumen output. It has 3 light levels; the lowest level is perfect for going thru a theater for example where you need just enough light to see where you're going without disturbing others. The medium output level is good for most uses but the high output, especially with the current model, is great for finding any small item you may have dropped on the ground. It lights up a fairly large path and generates a very intense spot light pattern as you walk of about 6-7 feet in diameter. Also good for longer distances outside but most effective indoors at closer distances. Don't use the strobe effect though. All in all after using these for about 5 years I have had just one failure where I could not get it to work. Not sure why but was past the 12-month warrantee period. However, considering how reasonably priced these are, I think it is a great deal and would highly recommend buying one. I carry it everywhere I go and have an extra one in my car. With normal use I find I change batteries about once every 4-6 weeks.

iTP A3 EOS red 150 Lumen 3 Outputs and Strobe: replaces my beloved Olight i3s eos (discontinued)...
Very good AAA keychain flashlight; strobe is an added bonus; seems robust + functions very well so far + has become new addition to EDC. Surprising amount of light from such a small size! Just keep close tabs on the condition of your battery: my Olight died at the hands of a leaking AAA; lithiums wouldn't fit that light, but they will this one (Energizer Ultimate). Occasionally, the light won't change brightnesses (low, med + high), but strobe always accessible + seems to have locked up on high. No big deal in a $13-14 torch, but kept it from getting 5 stars. Recommended.

Remove battery insulation before use
This flashlight is small, bright and very useful. I have several purchased over a few years. The most recent would not turn on so I returned it. The replacement would not turn on either. Both contained a battery, which surprised me as earlier purchased ones did not. On close inspection I found and removed a small circular insulator inside, over the battery contact. Now the flashlight works as it should. There is no mention of this insulator in the instructions, and I did not think to look for it because it was not there on those previously purchased. It makes sense now that a battery is included. Would have saved me the trouble of returning the first flashlight if I had known of it. Suggest that a warning is added to the instructions.

Dcent light, can do better for the price being charged
This is a review for Part Number iTP-A3-150-GR , iTP A3 EOS 150 Lumen 3 Outputs and Strobe CREE XP-G2 LED Keychain Flashlight 2016 Edition 1X AAA battery (Green)It is a nice looking, well finished light. It comes with a quality clip that WILL NOT break without some real effort to do so. The pocket clip is weak and I cannot see it securing the light in a pocket. It states that it is compatible with 10440 batteries. I ordered this specifically for that reason. The flashlight did not work when I received the light so I could not test this spec. I used TrustFire 4PCS AAA 10440 600mAh 3.7V TrustFire Rechargeable Lithium Battery with PCB Protected Board. Not the best batteries around, but they were cheap and will give me the ability to test some flash lights to see what size battery they can use. These litium ion batteries are noticeably longer than a AAA battery.I have ordered this light before and know how they perform. I will not be buying these again. Much better off buying the Lumintop Tool AAA or a similar thrunite light. I bought this as a test-bed but it failed that.
