Scared 😳 good luck watching

An OK Movie Expected a lot more Jumps and Scary Scenes But alas a No. Alot of Hype about the scary scenes but was a bit Disappointed. Not one of the Best Horror movies but It was OK Worth only 3.5 to 4 stars

Found this utterly difficult to watch. Jarring scene changes and edits. Acting from a great actress was stilted and wooden. Did not enjoy did not complete it 70% through, wanted my money back.

So disappointed as I love Sandra Oh, but even she could not save this snooze fest of a movie. It was so painfully pedestrian, lacked any originality whatsoever and riddled with nonsensical plot holes. Give this one a miss unless you need some help getting some sleep.

I thought this was going to be a rearly good horror but it's rearly not kept waiting for something to happen not great

I sort of new the story line from the trailer. Was expecting it to have scary jumps but no.All good things in trailer so watch that instead

What potentially could of been an atmospheric ghost story turns out to be a dull clichéd supernatural mess. The performances though were very good.

Amanda is a Korean immigrant living on a secluded farm in America with her daughter Chris. They have very little interaction with the outside world, even to the extent of having no phones, internet or TV. When Amanda's uncle turns up unexpectedly on her doorstep one day with her mother's remains it brings back traumatic memories of her childhood and she soon finds that her mother's influence is starting to reach from beyond the grave.I thought Umma looked like a really interesting take on a classic ghost story but spoiler alert, it's not. It is lacking in scares, atmosphere and is generally quite boring. Sandra Oh does a decent enough job as the lead but the writing didn't go far enough. It would have helped to have extended flashbacks of her childhood and to have seen a more dramatic change in her character when her mother's influence really takes control but I just felt it was all very safe and gentle.
