My momma chinchin and her babies love this

I got this alfalfa hay for what I thought was a pregnant chinchilla, but ended up finding out that she was just fat! This is a great high-quality hay that my chinchillas love, but I will be switching them out to Timothy hay because that is better nutritionally for them . The alfalfa hay does smell very good. There was no mold present and it was very dry. Just like it should be. It was shipped in its own box and labeled properly and I think is great value for the money. It was a nice green color and you got a lot of hay for the price.

I like the excellent savings, obviously, and the hay looks just like the smaller bags I was buying at the farm store. My only complaint is that the box arrived with the bag open and no way to seal it. Given that the smaller bags (by the same company) have sliders to keep the hay fresh, it's concerning that this one, which will obviously take much longer for my bunny to eat, did not. (How long did it sit in storage with an open bag?) I wound up filling my empty smaller bag, and using a twist tie on the bigger one.

This is my bunnies fav hay, I've never had any issues with it or the brand. It's always nice quality.

This is the second time I've bought it for the bunny... she loves it. What I like is that it has helped her maintain her weight and she looks healthier.
