This looks and feels like a great product. Ordering and delivery was as expected. I do think the shipping package should be in a more padded enclosure, but it made it without damage or dent. The unit looks and feels good and sturdy. The screen is large enough for great viewing. The connection cable is long enough for and easy connection. The instructions seem to be more for an intermediate user rather than a beginner. Everything displays as it should, but I found myself going back to the question, "what now?". I was able to connect, get a reading/analysis, and reset the trouble light on my vehicle. When the light came back on again, I could not find my way back in. Could be me....could not be me. I have not been successful connecting the unit to any of my computers so that I can send it out or get the unit update. That's going to be a problem shortly so I will continue to try. Overall I really like the product. I will read the directions again to get a better understanding of everything, but the unit is a keeper.

My device is not reading the code with the check engine light ON.Update instructions included with the product were not adequate but update was still pretty easy. Find their website and download the only file offered, instructions are included in the readme file.As for not reading the code: Update did not help. I was unable to get a response from customer service through their website but they responded very quickly to this review. I have sent them further information to both places and await their response.Update: I've waited 48 hrs and no response to the messages I've posted to their website and no further response to information they requested and I provided to their response to this review. I'm now suspecting that the fast response I received to this review was from a bot.I actually need a scanner so at this time I'm returning this one and will pay a bit more for another.Do to the overall good reviews of this product I believe that I received a defective device. I'm leaving my review at one star to reflect that now and then a few of them do not work.

I’m a full time independent mobile heavy duty mechanic. This unit has lots of options and programs available. However, after lots of buffering, most options that are available will say “ecu doesn’t support this function” I’ve tried to get into several Allison transmissions and it just buffers with no luck. And of the 4 John Deere tractors I’ve tried to connect to I’ve not been able to get connected to the ecu even though all model and engine options appear on the display of the scanner.Ive had ok luck on the light and med duty vehicles. And real basic info can be gathered and few bi-directional tests are supported on the heavy duty side.All in all, not real impressed and actually pretty bummed I didn’t get a pro level scanner and diag. program.

Can be used on most cars 1997 and later. I've used it to determine issues with my 2007 Solstice and yesterday with my daughter's 2015 Jeep Cherokee (see Photo). In this case, the purge valve was leaking. In my case it just needed adjustment and the 'check engine' light went out. The replacement unit was $48 at the local car parts store. If you don't know a lot about cars, check for a YouTube video. Will save hundreds in repairs at the dealer. The Ancel is easy to use - just plug in and follow the on-screen instructions. Also helpful to have the quick, easy to use manual close by.

This is a great scanner,I can read fault code,delete them,make force Regen on my 2015 Freightliner M2 106 with Cummins engine 6.7. Great device.
