Q: My controls are not working with the Orginal part. Has anyone bought this piece to replace to Original to fix that same problem?

I am at the same crossroads. I have two gate openers installed and operating for over 5 years with 10 different remotes at a range of around 100 yards line of sight driving up to the gate. One of the two gate openers has had significantly diminished range requiring the remote to be within 10 feet of the opener, even with fresh batteries (12.7V fresh vs 11.3V old batteries). I’m going to purchase this replacement control board for about 1/4 the cost of a whole new gate opener unit and see if the receiver sensitivity returns to its previous performance. I will have to re- learn 10 different remotes, but hopefully it will improve to the 100 yard range I previously had. I will report back with my findings.

Please note that the power supply of this control board is 110V, not 220V. At present, we do not have the 220V version.
