It worked for me when it was cardioviva. It doesn't work any more when the manufacturer was changed.

I had good results with this supplement
This review is for the UP4 Heart Health Probiotic Supplement, 60 CountThe UP4 has ten billion little critters to help your intestines to their intestinal thing. In case you don't know your gut is your largest source of immunity from the stuff that makes you ill. So if you travel (airlines) you really need this.I had good results with this supplement. Like most, it is easier on your stomach if you have some food in it. Empty stomach expect some discomfort, just like a major medication will give you pains if you try and take them without any food or stomach coating med.Shelf stable, Trademarked superstrain Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1

Gut biome aids digestion, nutrient absorption and even production of neurotransmitters. Supplementing them is a healthy choice.
All I've read recently about the importance of the human biome made me look for ways to support this essential part of us. Its often estimated that for every cell in the body that's actually "us" there are 10 that live in us or on us in a symbiotic way aiding in digestion, absorption of nutrients we need as well as even aiding in the production of neurotransmitters, interestingly, in the gut, that affect our mood and personality. As in all health aids, I believe the foods we select are the primary protection and solution to maintaining health. There are a variety of foods that use fermentation and therefore contain needed bacteria; everything from yogurt to sauerkraut to kombucha. The natural acid in the stomach, besides serving to help digest our food, especially proteins, is also a part of the immune system since it kills potentially bad bacteria from entering the body. This also can dissolve or kill bacteria that are potentially good from getting through though many of those essential bacteria are immune to the acid's effects. For all these reasons I think taking a Probiotic supplement regularly is a smart maintenance strategy. It's impossible to know if any product is effective or how many of the bacteria cultures are alive and active in helping populate our gut. (Though I have opened capsules in the past and used them as cultures in making home made yogurt with success, though I haven't tried that with this OP4 product yet. I'll report back when I get around to that test.) I'm just finishing my first bottle and since I haven't experienced any negative effects and the evidence of seemingly normal digestion without any upsets as well as normal and daily stool production, would indicate that my gut biota is healthy and regulated. So, so far can recommend this UP4 product, as well as encourage all interested to eat a generous amount of fibre each day since that's part of food source that gut bacteria eat for their own health and viability.

Heart Healthy but Stomach Hurty
This probiotic comes in a glass bottle that is recommended to be kept in the refrigerator. It seemed like it caused my stomach to hurt.I'm not sure about the claim to help maintain healthy cholesterol in your body. It does seem like this would be hard to verify .
