RapidLashEyelash Enhancing Growth Serum for Longer, Thicker Lashes, 3 ml (Pack of 1)

After having lash extensions for a couple of years I decided to give my poor eyelashes a bit of a break. I dont think the extensions did that much damage however they were definitley a little sparser & after being used to seeing myself with lovely fluttery eyes, my natural little stubby lashes were a horrible shock! I stumbled across Rapidlash after doing research on decent mascaras and read review after review after review and in the end decided to take the plunge with the intention of just conditioning my lashes until I got extensions again.To give you an idea my lashes were very average (not tiny, but certainly not long), very fine and pointed straight down. I must add that I used this religiously every single night (even if tired or after one too many wines, my desire to see if this worked spurred me on!) I know that everyone has different results but here are my findings as detailed as possible as I used to get a little obsessed about results in other people, at different stages, to check whether mine were the same or not! Just in case anyone else is like me here you go ....Week 1 - not much difference in length however a notable difference in straightness - they started to curl upwardsand not point downwards as they did beforeWeek 2-4 I could certainly see new lash growth, particulary in the outer corners of my eyes. I could tell they were fractionally longer but nobody else would have. Mascara seemed easier to applyWeek 4-6 This is when I started to see more of a difference when I applied mascara (without it it didnt look very obvious). I think its because more new lashes were growing, especially outer corners again. Bottom lashes definitely looked a bit more noticeable (practically non-existant before)Week 6-8 Not that much difference in length but they seemed darker (I have dark lashes but before when I looked in the mirror sidewards they seemed lighter at the ends)Week 8-10 Seemed slightly longer but I felt a bit disappointed that the end result was not as long as I hoped they would beWeek 10-12 - WAHEY! definitely much much longer than when I first started out. In fact I would say they have more than doubled in length, my bottom lashes are probably as long as my top ones first started out . They are not much thicker sadly which I was really hoping for but there is certainly an improvement.I never had any problems applying (ie redness or soreness) I did have slight discolouration on my top lids where you apply the liquid (grey-beigey thin line) but nothing horrendous. I also did have a bit of unlevel growth at times with my eyes but that could be how I applied it. I also did have the odd random lash/hair grow out of my eyelind but a quick pull with the tweezer sorted that outIf you have never have lash extensions you will absolutely love this , you just need to be patient and committed! If you have had them and you are hoping they will have the same effect, sadly they are not as dramatic, as the thickness for me just isnt there (but then to be fair my falsh lashes felt stiff they were so thick and I dont think I could expect rapidlash to make my natural lashes do that!) I think the length is probably the same and with a good mascara they certainly aren't far off. I dont think I will go back to falsies but for a really special occasion I might just have the odd couple put in but I dont think I will ever need a full set again! Been using this for only 2 months morning and night !!! Amazing stuff

It definitely works! I brought this on a recommendation and was dubious as usual. However after about 4 weeks I could see a difference in the length, a further 2 weeks and they really are longer. It is easy to apply, using the brush that comes with it. You just apply like the liner along the last line, not the eyelid though. In will continue to use it to SEE if there's an improvement in the thickness too. I always had thick eyelashes before, but aging can be pretty unkind. I have 4 stars rather than 5 due to the price £££ 😬

*Warning to other potential buyers* Like many others i purchased this eyelash enhancing serum by RapidLash in the hope of growing nice long lashes, but i found out that you have to sacrifice or risk your eye health in order to get these long lashes. The first time i used this product i had a weird unpleasant sensation under my eyelids, it felt like sand was under my eyelids and felt scratchy and horrible. I also developed a line just above my lash line on my eyelid skin (which i still have now) which is part of the side effect of the product, but it must be a permanent burn as they are still there, and i only used this product once. I wished i was able to use it but could not use this product anymore. After i sent the product back i did some more reading up about it online and found out that the feeling of sand under the eyelids is one of the unpleasant side effects that people can get. But i also found out something far more concerning, that this product (and many other eyelash enhancer gels) contain a prostaglandin (an ingredient used in treatment for glaucoma patients) The prostaglandin makes the eyelashes nice and long (which is a side effect for glaucoma patients when they have the treatment) but for people with normal eyes, prostaglandins can change your eye colour, and the change is permanent. For anyone who doubts this it would be useful to read about a journalist who used one of these eyelash enhancers and her eyes turned brown permenently, and she lost the sparkle completely. It can also cause vision disturbances in your eyes. This alarmed me and i was relieved the product caused me discomfort, as i would never have returned it and found out more. I urge people to be careful when finding an eyelash enhancer to use, as most of them do contain a type of prostaglandin. Ask yourself is it worth sacrificing the health of your eyes just for vanity? If you know about the risks and still want to use eyelash enhancers, look into getting one of the more natural ones that doesnt contain a prostaglandin. Im suprised that this product is allowed as its dangerous to eye health
