Invaluable resource for pregnant women
I was overwhelmed by the numerous medical tests recommended during pregnancy. This book shed light on the necessary tests, helping me make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary procedures. Its insightful guidance alleviated my anxiety and empowered me to take control of my prenatal care. A vital resource for any expectant mother

Edit: Book quality AND content
Note: This review is only for the quality of the book and not for the content. Will update for the same in the coming months.I read a few comments and reviews on here about the print quality and black & white images in the book and I am confused about what people really expect out here. Just because you're ordering online & from Amazon, doesn't mean everything is going to be A+ quality product. For me, considering the amount of the book, the page quality is just fine, and the B&W images work well. I have glimpsed through the book and don't find anything untoward that can put me off. For me, I was looking for a quality content with decent printing & image quality and I guess for the latter two, this book works fine. As far as content is concerned, I will update on the same soon.Update: ContentThis is a brief book containing important snippets of all the pregnancy books you might find. With 8-10 pgs (max) per topic, the book gives a concise information on all things related to pregnancy. If you are looking for a book that is handy, well-written but something for a quick read, this is the one for you. However, if you want something detailed for topics like food, well being or other such particular topics, look for something else (I would still recommend this - consider this as your note book where you had jotted down the important points from the other books).Overall, 4/5 simply for covering major topics in a small book. A very handy book but not fulfilling if you are looking for detailed overview on particular topics

Very useful book in Pregnancy
It was a good decision to buy this book in my pregnancy, and the information contained in it helped me throughout my pregnancy journey and even post delivery. It explains everything you need to know as a to-be-mom, right from conceiving, your first to third trimester, symptoms being faced, baby's health in the womb, onset of labour, normal & c-section delivery, all medical aspects and queries are covered and resolved, including real-life cases. I highly recommend this book to all pregnant women. Hats off to the author for crafting such a wonderful book with end to end information in a simplified manner.

Valuable, informative, reassuring book for expectant mothers
I bought this book after reading positive reviews in leading dailies. The book did not disappoint. Written by a leading gynaecologist, it provides detailed information on what to expect during each week of pregnancy, how the foetus develops stage by stage, what physical and emotional changes we can expect in the body during each trimester. It doesn't just stop with covering pregnancy, but also deals with busting popular superstitions like 'avoiding papayas, refraining from climbing up stairs etc) and it covers important topics like complications during birth, birth control after delivery etc..It prepares you in advance for each stage of pregnancy, as well as delivery and post partum careAs an expectant mother myself, I was earlier worried about very small symptoms like coughs and cramps because I was afraid it might harm the baby. But after reading the book, I realized that many of the symptoms which I thought were problems are actually normal conditions during pregnancy and I was much calmer and more informed about what changes I was undergoing after reading this book.Regarding the print, I was disappointed to find all pictures in black and white (like Photostat copies, I guess for Rs 175, that's all I would get, still the Title said its a hardback copy so I would have been happier with colour photos) but the print and paper quality were good and the book is a great read, so I would have to give a thumbs up to this one.

Didnot like ....lost trust on the book
This book is based on modern medicine and lifestyle....it completely rubbishes our traditional ayurvedic principles..it suggest to do everything eat everything no inhibitions....whatever the older generations or our ayurvedic textbooks prescribe is alll myth..thats the message I got ...although there are indeed few good chapters like dealing with older child ..but still i did not find it useful..many words ansd sentences were similar to what we google on many websites

Amazing Book every pregnant must have
My wife is pregnant for 3 months now and bought this book just out of curiosity and excitement of the first pregnancy. I am really happy to have got this book. A wonderful book with complete information on pregnancy. As it is our first child we were anxious and scared about the baby. This book has provided information on almost everything about pregnancy. From day 1 of the first week to delivery it covers everything. It was like a boon for us. It also helped us in understanding medical terms which we need to be aware of which helped us get the scans done with confidence.I would like to Thank Dr. Gita for her patience in listing down the details of the minute things. I wish we were somewhere closer to Dr. Gita to meet her personally. But altogether, it's a wonderful book.
