Highliving Quilted Mattress Protector, Extra Deep, (Cot Bed 70x140+15)

An excellent protector that doesn't move and tucks deep and well under the mattress for a stronger hold. Very comfortable for a good night sleep and doesn't move when you turn over. Good value for money and would recommend it to anyone.

Not normally being one to review a mundane product such as this, I will just say that I am pleased with it. It was bought to accompany a new bed and it fitted perfectly. Mattresses do tend to be much deeper these days, but the cover was ample. Seems to be reasonable quality too.

Good quality at a reasonable price. It came very quickly - well done. The Mattress Protector has deeper sides - it makes it easier to tuck in.

Bought this as a spare while other one is for the wash and am glad I did, originally I was looking for one in Argos but the ones on there for this price looked cheap or only had elastic to cover corners. But this one has a full skirt and fits really well on my King Size mattress, I even had a little bit to tuck under - would recommend :)

Item arrived vacuum packed and unfortunately a little bit of the material had been caught by the heat sealer which left a small sliver of plastic on the topper but I managed to pick it off. Opened it up, give it a good shake and put it onto the bed straight away. The size is a perfect fit for a king size bed. We already had a decent mattress, we bought this to add an extra layer of comfort as we found our mattress on its own, a bit too firm. I'm not a great fan of the corner elasticated straps. In my opinion they're too close to the corners of the topper and in past experience have a tendency to "ride" or slip off the corners of the mattress. That being said, we put it on and it has stayed in place. I bought a mattress protector from the same company at the same time and that has a full skirt that tucks under the mattress all the way around. Why they've not done the same for the topper I don't know?Having the topper on the bed is pure luxury and heaven. It's like being snuggled up between two quilts; one above and one below (which does make it a bit warm, but I like being cosy and warm in bed). The extra comfort provided from the topper reminds me of being in a plush hotel, it's super comfy and we've been sleeping much better since putting it on. The only thing we've found it that because our mattress was deep, with the topper on as well, it's made it really quite high (a bit like the fairytale "Princess and the Pea" with all the mattresses stacked on top of each other :-) ). To add the final bit of luxury I would highly recommend a Fogarty "Soft Touch" deep sided fitted sheet then you really will feel like you're in heaven! Highly recommended but only to use on top of a fairly decent mattress. I can't imagine it will help much in the way of comfort if your mattress is passed it's best and you can feel the springs!

I bought this mattress protector about a year ago and liked it so much I went back onto Amazon and pressed the 'Buy again' option. The item arrived quickly but the specifications had changed slightly and the features I particularly liked (stretchy skirt and silky finish) were different. I contacted the Company and received excellent after-sales service. They went out of their way to find a suitable replacement (which didn't seem promising, initially) but they did find one almost immediately and I received a surprise replacement within a few days. Very impressed and would do business with them again. Customer service goes a long way ...
