I work in Training, so always on the move and have the odd stay over - this is great for that, is small enough to be hand luggage on a plane, fits up to 2 nights worth of clothes [based on men's needs] and when on the London underground the handle collapses quick enough that I don't have to break stride when face with stairs or the escalator. The compartments are great and the extra laptop bag for when I don't need anything other than my laptop, a pad and a pen. I used to use a rucksack which caused lots of back pain, all that is now gone..............However, I have given it 4 Stars as I am on my 2nd in 2.5 years. My first one took a lot of bashing on the London underground and trains up and down the country, after 12 months the wheel bearings gave out and one of the wheels stuck; it was like dragging a dead body about, my second lasted 9 months until the handle mechanism went meaning that when I pressed the button on top the handle didn't drop. Also, it's not a big fan of the rain, as it gets in through the zips and the manufacturers grease that is on the extendable handle seems to wash off and it is no longer as smooth when you drop the handle.However, both times it has been replaced at no change - its is a FAB product when it is all working well, but you soon realised how great it is when bits start to fail...............I am now going to try my luck with the Swiss Gear Patriot.....I will keep you posted

This is a great quality laptop multi pocket bag.My only dissappointment and a pretty big one as its main reason i bought this is the stated overnight/clothes section at the back by the handle,it is tiny and most taken up by the handle in retracted position,i struggled to get 1 x boxer shorts,1 x pair socks,1 x pair jeans,1 x toiletry bag into it i had to disperse some into other pockets.I am a service engineer so on overnight stays i carry personal,work laptops these fitted ok in the mid section fine 17" Lenovo and 16" Dell,in the front pocet of the provided removeable laptop bag i put the work ipad.I had to put laptop power and other cables into another section.In my bag i also have a selection of hand tools(8 x various size torx/screwdrivers,3 pairs varied pliers,2 x pair side cutters,box of torx drivers,box of allen keys,roll up pouch of screwdrivers/torx then some pens and usb drive and sticks),which i chose to put in the front section(not the very front zipped section ) which had plenty of room and i am impressed with.The section where i house the laptops i also have paperwork this holds a fair amount i have 1 x a4 diary,1 x a5 diary, 1 x a4 notepad,2 x a4 folders.Overall this is a sturdy well constructed bag,note it doesnt come with shoulder strap or carrying abilities if you have to travel up stairs etc only the handle on the top you can use to carry it,only has handle and wheels which are solid and work well.Make sure its fit for purpose

Arrived inside the delivery estimate of two days (09:00 instead of 21:00).NOTETwo of the customer photos are of the Wenger Patriot and Wenger Patriot Label this is NOT the Swiss Gear Comp-U-Roller. I will attached a photo of my delivery to show the difference (one less compartment).PROI have been using Wenger / Swiss Gear for many years (Wenger Legacy). I use their bags daily and they receive harsh treatment during my commuting to University. I carry a lot ... laptop, charger, textbooks, journals, papers, and marking. Wenger has saved my laptop from damage on two occasions. The key features in this model are the durable wheels on a wide wheelbase and the extra large size zips. I selected this bag over the wider Wenger Patriot because I wanted a fighting chance of being allowed to use it as a carry-on bag with airlines. I'm more concerned about the check in gauge frame than the overhead lockers.CONThis combo is really for 15.4" laptops ... not 17" ones. The included laptop bag will not fit 17", so this is a waste of money for customers with only wide-screen computers. The laptop bag does not have the Wenger attachment strap at the back, so you have to use the fabric bag handles to attach it to the collapsable handle for a piggy-back configuration. The main bag does not have a carrying strap or strap attachments.PRECAUTIONSOthers have mentioned the two Torx screws on the handle grip coming loose. I will refit these with Loc-tite thread lock (thanks for the warning). Beware of any loose object jamming one of the wheels, remove it immediately or run the risk of putting a flat on one of the wheels. This is a generic problem with all wheeled bags, but particularly nasty for laptops if your bag becomes a source of high frequency vibration.I think that Wenger/Swiss Gear have the market cornered for value at this price point.
