Great introduction to Arduino
Item arrived well packaged and on time. No problems with supplier or product. Great introduction to Arduino. I would recommend either using this with a breadboard or shield. Although the board looks robust, the surface mount components are fragile and should be protected, especially from unintended shorts. The Arduino GUI works well with the product, the only grump is that every time the USB connection to the computer is broken, the chances are that you will get a different COMM port when you reconnect. The board comes pre-programmed with the blink program so the 'L' LED flashes when the board is first powered up - a useful feature.

Works fine
Item had bent pin which was disconcerting on opening but a little bending set it right. You need to install the drivers for this older CH340 chipset - not a problem as long as you are PC savvy and if not then stay clear of this hobby! On the Arduino if your sketch does lot upload than under tools run as 'legacy boot-loader' (or words to that effect). So many people make a fuss about the CH340 but it is 100% compatible and what is more it consumes far less power which is important for battery operation. With the Nano it is very hard to read the pin outputs and you need a good lighted magnifier glass as it is a real struggle - so if starting on this hobby buy a UNO first from a good seller and once your project is working transfer it to the tiny Nano if space is an issue. These Nanos are pre- soldered where others are not , so always check this out.For the price 12 Euro is was a good buy for me.

Great little piece of kit.
Great little size which can fit practically anywhere :) I didn't need any additional drivers on my Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 machines. I probably should take more notice but I didn't realise just how much smaller this version is to the previous one. I also ordered a couple of Funduino expansion boards which thankfully are for this new size. As a test I uploaded a large solar management application that I am working on and everything works OK.I highly recommend this unit to anyone that needs a Nano - just be aware of the new size.

Worked out the packet. No hassle.
Works fine & its pins fit into a breadboard. All the pins came pre-soldered, ready to use, As pictured.I didn't need to download any drivers or anything running Windows 10.Try it without downloading anything first, because you may end up using your time installing drivers on your pc which you don't need if you follow the advice in the other reviews. In the Arduino program select:Tools > Board > Arduino NanoTools > Processor > ATmega328Tools > Port > COM#Then you're good to go. (Unless you happen to have an OS that requires more drivers)

versatile and handy
good little device for small projects. Probably should be used with an additional power source if you're going to mount sensors on it or connect it to esp8266

seems to work fine now, and for the price you can't argueseems to work fine now, and for the price you can't argue, but it took a while to get it to work on my mac...i found i couldn't see it on the usb port and it therefore won't load, after a bit of searching i found you have to install the drivers for the ch340 chip, you can find them online (there are versions in english and in Chinese), once these are installed works finehave fun!
