Simple to use, pretty colours, lots of flashing modes.
I'm so in love with these sort of garden lights I actually have 4 sets in total now but each of them is different and each is in a different place in my garden and these flower shaped ones are probably the last ones I will buy (till I get tempted again lol). When this turned up it was just as I had expected, a small solar panel which is staked into your garden and that is what charges the lights up. Even though it's a really small panel it works and best of all the panels are so small you can pop them into a plant pot or window sill and not have it stand out like a sore thumb. On the back of the panel is an on/off button and another one which changes the mode ie the way the lights flash and you get a total of 8 options. So very simple to use and of course the fact that they're not battery powered or aren't plugged in means you don't have to keep on changing batteries or paying to run them. Obviously in the middle of Summer when there is plenty of sunshine you can almost be guaranteed of them getting enough power to light up but in the duller months or days it can be a bit hit and miss but I do live in the NE and we do have more gray days than some areas of the UK. The one lesson I have learned is to place the solar panel in a south facing position and that makes all the difference. The solar panel is very small, not sure if they were larger if it would make any difference and they all seem to have similar size panels in any case. The advantage of the small size panel is it's so discrete. Perfect for hiding in a shrub, pop in a plant pot etc again as long as the panel is faced towards the south and clear of any obstruction.I live in the NE of the UK and we have too many gray days and although that doesn't mean they won't light up when it gets dark as they can often have enough power from the day before it can be a bit hit and miss but if you live down south then you will have much more luck than I. Having said that I have no complaints. With having the 4 sets in my garden there is always a light or lights shining away during the night. One thing to mention is that none of this sort of solar panel light lights up until it's dark I do have an outdoor set which is a plugin version but I still have that in my kitchen but if or when I want to be guaranteed an outdoor light I will use this set to boost what's out there.Just to note that in one of the pictures you can also see one of the tear dropped shaped lights I already have, I haven't decided where this set will be going in the end.and I should have taken a picture from a bedroom window because all of my neighbours seem to have these sets of lights in their gardens because you just put them out and forget about them.PS I took these pictures on the day I got them. I just shoved them out in the box and put the stake in and when I looked out of the window and saw that even just being out for the afternoon, it was a particularly sunny afternoon, was enough to make them glow so I just went out and took 2 snaps of them in the box and one strung up on the bush.

After good reviews of this product I expected more
After good reviews of this product I expected more. They work only if it is nice and sunny day. So in November not very often. But when they work they are very nice and pleasant to look at, my little girl loves them.

They are very pretty, flashing away different colours strung over my hanging ...
For those thinking of ordering, here are the measurements of my string of lights: lead cable to first fairy light = 77" (6'5"), from first flower fairy light to last flower fairy light = 226" (18'10"). Each flower = 1" diameter x 1" high from cable to bottom of flower. I put mine in the garden for 5 hours before nightfall to charge up. The lights remained on for at least 12 hours. They are very pretty, flashing away different colours strung over my hanging basket brackets along a wall. Hopefully, I've answered any questions you may have.

Bright and pretty
Nice bright lights and look pretty but at the moment only light up for a couple of hours when dark.Maybe they are better during the summer months!

Lovely while they lasted but the supplier has saved the day!
Update on previous feedback (Delivered on the 29th June and worked straight away. Now the 15th September and the lights have stopped working. Say no more. Don't buy.): Supplier emailed me following feedback and have put new set of lights in the post. Wasn't expecting this at all, so fair play to them! There are decent companies after all! I take my hat off to them!

A must buy.
Absolutely love these lights. They brighten up my garden so much. I like the fact that you can change the mode of the lights. Still working strong after a week. A good tip with any solar lighting is to swap the battery for a higher voltage rechargable battery as they usually last much longer especially for cloudy dull weather. Would definately recommend these, great price too.
