Brilliant!
This lighting desk is great! It is so simple to use the 'Tap Sync' is a really good way of changing the lights with the music. It has 16 channels and can host big lights that can move. It can have 12 fixtures connected up to it at once and can all be controlled separately. This lighting desk was defiantly worth the money that I paid for it. It has a small display that can tell you what is going on at that time can hold up to 6 chases. This lighting desk is defiantly brilliant and works great with the lights I do have. It can also be connected to a fog and a strobe light. Though it recommends that you use a Chauvet one. Brilliant purchase!

All in all a great product. The supplier is very good as well ...
A powerful piece of kit for the price. It has more or less everything you would need for a multi fixture show as well as additional bits such as strobe control and control for fog machines. The two negatives I could say about this is that the button are a bit clunky and that you can't fade between scenes but those are relatively small issues compared to the rest of the features. All in all a great product. The supplier is very good as well providing very good and very quick service. I would definitely recommend this.

Great for the money
I'm sure this would be great with the right lights. The lights I was trying to use them with meant that it was not completely straightforward to set up. But that's my equipment rather than this unit. I have 4 x leds on a T bar which is regarded as one unit by this system rather than four, so it does get complicated. If you have individual lamps, I think this should be a walk in the park.Although the buttons feel a little fragile (hence 4 stars, rather than 5) it seems of reasonable build quality and does what it says it should. If you haven't got a straight forward lighting rig you do need to know a little about dmx with this and it is quite hard to get your head around. The manual is pretty good, although I think but does lose something in translation at times. What I should add here is that I contacted the manufacturers when I had difficulty and their distributers, Adam Hall, were very quick to respond and quite helpful with resolving my problems so big tick in the box there from me.One thing it does not do is fade from one scene to another. In other words, if you have programmed and set up a scene then change to another scene, it snaps from one to the other rather than a nice fade. It will only fade if you do it as a playback (chase).

Brilliant
I can run a whole stage setup (12 lights) from this item. I had to go online to work out how to use it but it didn't take too long, thanks Youtube. I have set the controller up to run automatically from my sound desk and it is pretty easy to master. I can wash the stage with one colour or have it run through a few scenes. I am very happy with this product.

Brilliant
Brilliant. So much better than the cheap but overpriced clones. Excellent operating instructions. I use mine in a video studio to control the set lights and this allows me to shoot scenes so much quicker.

Not what i had hoped.
This is going to be hard to explain. I watched a you tube video tutorial (by Learn lizard) demonstrating dmx lighting using a Chavet obey 40. On the video the lighting controller 'controlled' different coloured light beams on each channel. When used on my lumiwing dmx disco light, the light beams were all on the same channel but at different points on the slider. Not what the video had portrayed. That is why I returned my chavet obey 40 and got my money back.

Great value controller
I am brand new to DMX lighting and we wanted a simple - and especially cost effective - mixer for a big gig we were doing, with a friend who is new to lighting to be in control. It is VERY easy to use, and has plenty of controls. For small requirements (we are using an Equinox Microbar and two stand alone 56 PAR cans) it's superb.

Good for a DMX newbie
Having never tried DMX lighting before I thought I would give it a go. The unit is fairly solid and seems well built. It is a big learning curve getting it to do what I want but all in all it seems like a good unit.
