Mapex T570A Drum Throne

I have recently bought this Mapex padded stool and 100% satisfied. For quality, robustness, sturdiness, weight, comfort, and good value for money, it ticks all my boxes. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking fr a comfortable stool to use on stage...in fact anywhere.

Comfortable and sturdy construction. The extra thick seat means I need the height adjustment to be at its lowest setting (I am 5 foot 8 inches tall with short legs). I notice that the seat clamping screw does work loose and get a bit wobbly, which is a bit annoying as I don’t want the seat to rotate while I play. I am not conscious of it while playing though. I would have thought the maker could have done something about this by now.

Comfortable cushion, although the height adjustment DOES NOT WORK. The seat will always sink down to its lowest height. Would not reccomend for tall people.

Solid materials and deep comfy seat. However, I can’t get the stool to stay at the height I want it, no matter how tightly I turn the adjustment screw.

Very comfortable. Good range of adjustment. As someone else mentioned, the top thumb lock comes loose after a while so the seat rocks a little, but it's not too much of an issue to tighten it up now and again.

Very comfy and sturdy with a locking nut for added security. I returned the first delivery for a refund as the cusion was torn. The metal parts were lose in the box on arrival, so that may be why it was damaged. Mapex needs to sort its packaging out - some bubble rap or foam perhaps.

Nice neat well padded seat, but enough about me this stool aint bad either! Well cushioned and neat.
