A Guide to Motor-Cycle Design - A Collection of Vintage Articles on Motor Cycle Construction

NOT a guide to motor-cycle design
I enjoyed reading this very slender collection of articles about motorcycles written before world war one mainly for the pure amusement of reading Edwardian language. There were virtually no portions of this book that dealt with design of motorcycles. What meager crumbs that might possibly be said to be related to design were focused on two-stroke engines with leather belt drives and, often, no clutch. I suppose the article discussing the advisability of rear lights on motor vehicles might be said to be a design question ...Only buy this 73 page collection of technical articles from 1902 - 1914 if you own a two-stroke, British or Belgian motorcycle from that era, or if you wish to immerse yourself in the Edwardian banter.
