The media could not be loaded.  I recently purchased this thermostat lock box and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The device is made of high-quality materials and feels very sturdy and durable. The lock mechanism is secure and I have peace of mind knowing that my thermostat is protected. The box is large enough to fit most thermostats and was easy to install. I particularly like the fact that the box has a clear cover, which allows me to see the thermostat display without having to open the box. Overall, I would highly recommend this thermostat lock box to anyone looking for a simple and effective solution to secure their thermostat.

However, there are no instructions and no screws included with this product. Other items like this include all of the above. I wonder what is included and if I was shorted these necessary items to install.Correction: The screws and "anchors" were stuck to the bubble wrap, so they are NOT missing.HOWEVER, I suggest you NOT use the cheap and useless anchors included with this item. I have a lot of experience attaching curtain rods and other things to dry wall and/or hollow core doors, etc. These anchors aren't long enough for standard dry wall, and I had to remove them and use others that I had on hand.Over all I'm otherwise satisfied with the appearance and function of this locking thermostat cover.

The media could not be loaded.  Due to some previous buyer feedback contacted seller to inquire about that the box can be opened after being locked. I was informed that issue was addressed and fixed after seeing these feedback. Its true and can lock properly. Now it can’t be opened from any angle unless you have the password.

Once you lock the guard, all anyone has to do is use a little force and turn the locking mechanism and it opens without entering the code.

I ordered this because my son said one of the kids was playing with my thermostat. My son is very handy and had no problem installing it. Our thermostat is on the small side with lots of buttons. I am looking into getting a google nest so the kids have zero buttons to grab their attention. My son and his family are staying with us for a couple of months while he works in the area. There are no instructions in the box and when that is the case I check the website and watch the video. What bothers me about these video's instead of included instructions is what happens in the future when the product is no longer made and the video no longer exists and you for whatever reason need the instructions. I prefer downloadable instructions I can save to my harddrive and load into the cloud. I can also print them out if need be. My son used the included screws but since one side was anchored to a stud he only put a drywall anchor on the other side and used one we had in the garage. I saw a mention in a review that you could easily open the locked box but my son said common sense told him that he needed to make sure the interior lock part was tightened and therefore the box stays locked and only can be opened with the combination. It looks good and is easy to see through. It is an easy combination and it opens right up to make any changes which I don't often do.

No true instruction on how to change the password. Bolt is also loose so passcode won’t stop from unlocking
