Llewellyn's 2013 Witches' Spell-A-Day Almanac: Holidays & Lore (Annuals - Witches' Spell-a-Day Almanac) Paperback – July 8, 2012

I was looking for a Spell-a-day type book to help me with my sometimes latency and the ones that I have are rather elaborate and self-serving. In these times, it is hard to balance spiritualism, family, work, and life in general, therefore elaborate spells daily just won't do. Anyhow, I decided to try 'Llewellyn's 2013 Witches' Spell-A-Day Almanac: Holidays & Lore...' and I love it. Although there are some personal spells, there are quite a few "community" type spells, which I love. This book is not all self-serving like a lot of other books out there and I will continue to buy these books annually.

I'm new to the witches life style and in the review it said good for all leaves. It would be nice if it came with a shopping list. with in the first few weeks I had to go shopping. Then I still wasn't able to follow a some of the spells cause I didn't know how to use the items I had to buy. Don't get me wrong. I have been truly enjoying the book and most spells are very easy to follow and don't take anything special.

This is a great way to begin the day - a bit of inspiration - keeping my mind of the pure magic of participating consciously in creating my life. I like that the daily spells are short, that they are relevant to life, sometimes hit on a particular need I have, and always make me feel connected to the pagan community.

Good reference Material to know what spells to cast on what days. You dont necessarily have to follow the specific spells given. But it tells you what spells work best for what days. Which has always been trial and error for me for quite some time. I would recommend this to all practicioners of the wiccan cloth.

This is my almanac of choice. A spell book and more. Buy it because you will use it everyday. Sturdy construction makes it last all year. Very easy to use even if you dont do the spells. I do many of the though.

I find this book to be an absolute necessity for myself and any other solitary practitioner. It is effective, accurate, and very helpful. You will be glad you got this almanac. It is a must have! I recommend this book to anybody!

My wife is into Wicca stuff and she loves Llewellyn products. This is a nice book with great graphics and a wealth of other information she like to read. I wish it had a spell for winning lotto ticket ...

This book is good for moon phases and it takes the hard work out of spellcasting. This book has a wide audience in mind so is not always relevant to the way I practice. It dose however give some good general know large and when it is relevant it is well thought out. There is not a spell for every day.

The book is a yearly diary and fullfills all your needs on a daily basis. Provides good insight into the day.If you are a pagan it is a must have. Interestingly not easy to find in specialist shops but thank goodness forAmazon

One of the best books I have bought for my wife so she tells me she really likes it and would recommend it to all those Witches out there. Croak, Read it,Read it ,LOL

Not quite what I expected. Thought it would be more colourful and have room for your own notes on each day.

Purchased as a gift. They loved it.
