JML Hover Ball: Fun Indoor Soft Foam Floating Football with Glide Base (Green)

Watch out for counterfeit goods of the same color and price is not much different, I have two. I bought one thinking it was whamo, as seller said it was then no way it was it said slide ball, not hover ball, the packet is the same , it needs to say jml. Or whamo. Don't make the mistake of thinking this truly floats like a hovercraft. It doesn't, therefore no batteries required. However it does glide smoothly over short pile carpet and to a lesser extent hard floors like tiles, lino or wood. The 'Hover Ball' actually slides over these surfaces on a super smooth base which works pretty well. I found a short pile carpet was best, and yes, it has a fairly soft upper section, 'the ball', and it does bounce off skirting boards or other objects without causing any damage. It's a fun toy 'for the family' .

Can't really give a proper review as I bought it for my dog, he is still a pup and he just wants to chew the foam top of it, he has great fun for a couple of minutes then I have to take it off him in case he swallows the foam which he has bitten off. Wasn't dear though and he does love chasing after it.

This foam ball was a instant hit with my football crazy granddaughter who is thrilled that at last she is able to play with a ball inside the house causing no damage to surrounding furnishings, the only downside that I find is the fact she tends to get a little over enthusiastic with her kicking causing the ball to fly in the air as opposed to the ground but with threats of stopping the game she reverts to how it should be officially used

Doesn't look much to be honest but my daughter likes it and enjoyed playing football in the house without getting into trouble!!

Not a JML ball as pictured. Not impressed as it wasn't particularly cheap and feel this was false advertising. That said, item seems ok so far but only had it couple of weeks.
