This book was so good! Trilling edge of your seat suspense with twists and turns, insta-attraction, sizzling chemistry, danger and excitement, and a great HEA.Piper and her RAPTOR team are in Sin City and she’s undercover to ferret out information from a local football team concerning the trafficking of young girls. She’s usually a behind the scenes gal, but she’s excited about her venture into the field. Cover in place, she and her team head to a local Vegas nightclub the players frequent hoping to score a lead. Meeting the gorgeous quarterback of the team she was excited to have found her “in” to hopefully gather the information they need. The instant attraction and sizzling awareness of Royce, however, was so not in the plan. The more time she spends with him the worse she feels for the deception. He’s a really good guy and she wants to get to know him for real, but when a careless mistake compromises her and she’s forced to reveal the truth will there be anything left for them to explore?I really enjoyed Piper and Royce, their attraction seemed genuine and their conversations natural. They were both strong characters who where total opposites, but they had great chemistry and their personalities easily clicked. The storyline was well paced and the loose ends wrapped up nicely. I enjoyed the banter of the RAPTOR team and how easily they accepted Royce into the group. And also, how Royce put everything on hold when Piper was in danger and jumped in to help, regardless of the consequences for his position or team contract. They had a great connection and worked well together and I was super happy with their HEA.

Piper Dillon, a former Marine, who now works for RAPTOR goes undercover in Las Vegas to help find a human trafficking ring. She and her teammate, Creed, head to Lucifer’s Den, a nightclub, that is a hangout for the Las Vegas Sinner’s football team. Some of the players on the team may be involved with human trafficking. Piper is supposed to get close to one of the players so she can get information on the team. A situation arises and Royce Roman, quarterback for the Las Vegas Sinners, comes to her rescue.Royce is new to the Las Vegas Sinners and is trying to fit with his new teammates. Royce asks Piper to attend a party at Bobbie Lee’s house. Piper accepts knowing this may help her gather information on the players suspected of human trafficking. Piper feels a little guilty for deceiving Royce; however, she understands it must be done to help save lives.Piper gets together with Royce. She makes a rookie mistake by leaving her phone where Royce could see it. How will Royce react when he finds out the truth about Piper? Will Piper be able to convince him to help them take down the human trafficking ring? Does everyone make it out alive? Do Piper and Royce get their happily ever after? Read the book! It is well written and keeps you entertained until the very end.

By far the best book in the series so far. The storyline was intense and compelling. It became a real page turner somewhere in the middle of the book. I'm hoping this continues in the next book.

Another well written, action packed, Steamy ,page turner, featuring Raptor team Creed, Piper and Caiden in Vegas looking into the Sinners Football team and trafficking of young girls. Piper meets the new quarterback, Royce Roman. This is their story.

A unbelievable story full of ups and downs, so intricately woven. Well written and a pure pleasure to read. This is the 4th book I've read in the series and each has been incredible! Now on to the next book, looks like no sleep tonight!

Awesome awesome writing ! I really enjoyed reading about Piper & Royce . They took one look & fell for each other! Football was his life but I could tell he was not happy as he had been. He was not a partner. He helped Raptor when Piper was kidnapped . They married just a few days after moving into their new house.Waiting now on Caiden & Mia,s story . Keep up the great work !

This was a great read – well written from start to finish! It was filled with drama, action, and suspense. I loved Royce from the beginning. Royce and Piper were so sweet together and perfect for each other. It was also cool the name of my character got picked and was in the story! I love this series and can not wait for the next one!

Royce Roman is the new quarterback of the Las Vegas Sinners, he meets Piper at a nightclub when he rescues her from the attention of one of his teammates. Unbeknownst to him she is investigating the team for involvement in the trafficking o women and children. Piper and Roman are immediately attracted to each other and Roman is initially deeply hurt to discover that Piper has been using their developing relationship, he rethinks his position with the help of his sister and inadvertently becomes involved in the investigation. This story is emotional not just because of the subject matter but also the way it is written. The whole Raptor team are involved and more pieces of the jigsaw gradually drop into place. The background story is tantalising and I can’t wait for Mia’s book. Maybe a very apt name.

Another good read in the Raptor series. An undercover operation leads to more than what one operative was intending to get the job done.

for me, Fiala is one of the very few Authors who make reading about hard-to-stomach Tropes possible, even enjoyable, without leaving me constantly feeling sick.Pedophilia and Human-Trafficking are big Problems nowadays, and i really love, that with RAPTOR she invented a Team that not only goes after the Perpetrators, but do everything possible to get the Children back.Promising Piper is Book #4 in the RAPTOR Series.Can't wait for the next Book in this Series!
