Q: If it is fragrance free i do not understand all the negative reviews regarding the smell of this product or are the reviews for another product?

It's an amazing product!! The smell is from the natural ingredients I'm guessing. I have super sensitive skin and it doesn't smell like anything in particular and definitely doesn't upset my skin.

Q: The item I received arrived with a dented open at top box and no protective seal around the tube itself. Is that normal?

I don't know about normal. But it does happen from time to. If your product is on tact andno leakage, your fine. But the decision is ultimately yours

Q: Does this lotion soak in enough (and quickly) so I can put makeup on over the top? Or is it greasy?

It is not greasy and soaks in/dries so to speak, fairly quickly. I do not use liquid makeup only powder. I can put powder on right after this cream.
