An exact fit, with no sloppiness. Mine lifts out easily. I read that others have complained it is difficult to remove. The rubber/silicone? liner for the bottom of each rectangular compartment keeps things quiet and in place (and have a colored trim that make the tray POP). Haven't tried coin holder yet, but that may be noisier. I am used to having an upper level in the console for frequently used and small items and this fits the bill. The cable cut out in the tray and the silicone bottom liner are well thought out. Large enough to allow a USB A cable ends to pass through (smaller USB C even easier), with more than enough room for two cables. I have two charging/music ports in the forward wall of the inner console storage area. As I am using older USB A flash drives for music I needed adapters USB A Female to USB C Male. I could only find 6" long cables on these adapters. The tray sits well enough above the charging/music ports, but 6" cables are a little short when fed up from beneath, but still long enough to work, and still keep the drive in the tray. My long USB C cable for phone charging is a breaze, and the exess can be pushed backed into the main console storage area under the tray, which is still pretty roomy. A great upgrade for very little money. There is no install, put in the silicone liners and place it in the console - DONE.

The console tray perfectly fits the Mazda CX-50 Hybrid. It’s highly recommended. Why Mazda wouldn’t include a console tray to begin with for the price of the car is beyond comprehension. It’s like buying a jar without a lid. But this company nicely and smartly filled the niche. That’s American capitalism at its best.

This is what Mazda should have included with the car in the first place! The center console has a very deep well that basically will become just a "junk drawer" with no way to easily organize. Well, this pretty cheap little tray fits perfectly, divides the area in half with a bottom section and a top section, so you can lift out the tray and access less needed things, and then leave the tray with it's dividers at the top to access those things you need frequently. It is great and so practical. Money well-spent. And again, Mazda, are you listening? Just include this with the car!
