Heavy Duty
This is a solid, well-made duct, not at all flimsy like many.

This dryer vent is amazingly good

Manufactured too small to fit over conventional dryer outlet or discharge vent
The openings on this supposed dryer vent pipe, are the exact same diameter as those on the dryer and discharge, consequently, unless you severely crimp and thereby destroy its efficiency to sequester lint, it will not fit either end. Useless for this application!

Well made
Did what I needed done. Connect my downdraft stove to ducting.

Does not fit standard US duct
This device claims to be male both ends, but it does not fit the female (crimped) end of an 8” duct. Rather than send it back, I had to use needlenose pliers to increase the crimp on the duct, then screw the pieces together as they tended to slip out. Since it’s just a range hood exhaust duct, it’s not I big deal—other than being a lot of work—but might not be acceptable in other applications.

Not quite 4 inches on one end
I’m really disappointed because I bought this and it says it’s 4 inches and it’s not quite 4 inches so it will not go on the outside of the dryer vent that is in the wall. It fits on the dryer itself very well.

Terrible
Don't waste your time and money. You can't stretch the duct without tearing no matter how patient you are. It is just a very poor quality duct.
