Awesome fan!
After looking over MANY fans, this was the only stylish tower fan that I could find. The Dyson-style bladeless fans are cool but just not my style. I like a traditional tower fan but hate how ugly they always are. Then I found this one! How awesome it is! My old fan was starting to get quite loud after a few years, making it hard to sleep at night. This one is very quiet but still has a little touch of that typical fan noise, which i need a little bit of a white noise effect to sleep at night. The 3 different fan speeds are great and it's the perfect height! I'd say it's an average tower fan height, someone said it was shorter than their old one but when standing next to my old one it's only about one inch shorter. Works perfect in my bedroom! Overall, highly recommend!

Circulates air for more comfortable outdoor deck use
Even on a hot day, this fan circulates the air to make our back deck comfortable and useable.

Lifesaver for a hot summer
We had this on our porch. Placed it maybe 4 1/2 feet in front of where we sit. It really helped keep us cool. It is under a partial roof, but still got wet during heavy rains. It handled the rain and wind well. No problems with it all summer. I’m glad we own it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I’ve been using this fan for many, many months, quiet enough for me, no issues with the remote or the unit itself, runs as it should, display has had no issues. I usually use #2 speed during the day and throughout the night. I would highly recommend this fan!🤗

Design Fail
It is not quiet.Extremely low to ground, a stand is needed for bedroom use.Annoying to adjust it so the airflow actually reaches you.Rowenta makes good products, this design is a fail.

Several things you should know
I purchased this because it was shown as an "outside/outdoors" fan. It has several design flaws that you need to know about. First, it has very small wheels on the base. When I put the fan on my rough cement back porch it wouldn't roll because the wheels are too small. They need to be bigger. Second, the motor of the fan is heavy and when I try to adjust the tilt of the head (to blow the wind up vs straight ahead) the weight is not centered correctly and the fan head falls towards the back of the fan without stopping on the intermediate stops - thus it has to be pointed straight ahead or in the up (or last) adjustment. It won't stay in any intermediate positions. Third, the remote is okay but it must be a line of site infrared remote. Standing in front of the fan and using the remote at waist level would not operate the fan. I had to drop the remote down below waist level so it was in line with the receiver unit on the fan body. For what you pay, the fan falls into the average category.

Excellent fan for a patio or garage.
The fan does a great job at moving air on my covered 24x12ft patio. As it sits next to the screen, it often gets rained on, but I have not noticed any issues with finish deterioration or impaired functionality at all.The good: it is fairly quiet for a large and somewhat powerful air mover. The base has lockable wheels, but they are badly needed; the base is heavy and does not scoot around even in pretty strong Florida winds. The assembly was easy and straightforward. The power cord has a GFCI built in, which is a good thing to have on an electrical appliance that will be subjected to inclement weather. The less good: the remote is tiny, easily misplaced, and does not function very well if not aimed DIRECTLY at the fan. As in “iron sights” kind of directly. It doesn’t not help that the fan shroud is extremely close to the sensor and undoubtedly blocks a part of the IR signal from reaching the sensor. The only other thing that is quite irritating is that every time the fan is turned on, it is in the default “natural” mode, in which the speed goes up and down and sometimes to “off” at random. It’s designed to emulate natural wind, but it’s more of an annoyance or hinderance than a feature. If you need the fan to push air, it should be the default setting. So, to overcome this, you will turn the fan on, and then immediately hit the mode button to put it on “outdoor” mode, which allows it to keep constant speed and do what you bought it to do - move air and cool you down.TLDR: Would I buy it again, despite the few admittedly minor grievances I have? Absolutely.

Aesthetic! Make sure to buy a battery for the remote!
I bought this fan over all the others cuz it was the ONLY one that wasn't super ugly and plastic-y looking! It didn’t give me an eyesore like the ones my parents have. It's actually pretty and super easy to set up, like 5 mins and done. Just a heads up tho: the remote needs a 2032 type battery, and unless you have one lying around, plan ahead to buy one! The “wood” finish is nice, looks kinda fancy from a distance. It's a bit shorter than most tower fans, but for chilling on the couch, it does the job. I love this fan!
