Independently Published Bye-Bye Tonsils

My daughter favorite book. This book prepared my daughter for her surgery.

I purchased this book for my 3-year old grandson, who needed to have his tonsils (and adenoids) removed. The text and illustrations helped explain, in simple, age-appropriate language, where tonsils are in the body, why they sometimes need to come out, and what to expect when he goes to the hospital. Not only did it help prepare him for the experience, he wanted to read it over and over again after the surgery. I think it helped him deal with the recovery period which was quite painful for a few days.

My 5 year needed to have her tonsils removed and this book really helped ease her anxiety around the operation!

It’s a great book if your child has to have their tonsils out!

My four year old enjoys reading this around the time she got her tonsils out - really easy for her to follow and nice simple explanations - not super detailed about the hospital stay tho
