Holds my bass
I've recently downsized my rig a little bit and I no longer wanted to bring my bulky guitar stand. I don't sing backups (the other band members took my mic away, probably for the best, LOL) but I use my mic stand for my IPad and drink holder....I added this contraption hoping it would hold my bass and it works beautifully! I do have a heavy bottom part to the mic stand for stability and I've never had any concerns with my bass falling off and crashing to the floor during a break. It's small, light, convenient, and I don't think I'll be bringing my guitar stand to a gig anytime soon.
