What’s the difference between a $300 one and $130 one is there a better better picture quality can you see in the rain doesn’t fog up etc.

Clarity
Great camera with clarity. My ONLY con with this is the mount. It does not give you many options in practical applications. I fabricated a mount that the factory one bolts to. Other than that..... 👍!

Goes blurry after a few years
Update:To fix the blurry camera lens, I used 3M 39008 Headlight Lens Restoration System. After sanding and polishing the lens with this kit, the Alpine camera is clear again like new. Apparently what happens is that the outer plastic of the lens forms a haze when exposed to the elements and the sun. This saved me from having to buy a new one.Original review:After a few years the camera gets blurry. Looks like a very foggy day even when the lens is perfectly clean. I'm surprised that Alpine has not come out with a newer model backup camera since 2017. I'm not sure of alternatives to use for my Alpine X008U navigation unit and I'm hesitant to buy a replacement in case the same problem happens again.
