Q: Do these contain phosphorus??

When you buy some matchbooks, you do not have to present a certificate of competency in chemistry. Are you kidding? I can just tell you these matchbooks are junk and most of the time do not light.

Q: Where are these manufactured please?

United States.....prompt delivery and ever single one ignites, no soft foriegn crap that falls apart when you strike....one strike and ignition. Real matches! They work like they are supposed to, and a must have.

Q: I'm seeing mixed information in the reviews. Are these plain white on both sides?

YES, plain white except for "keep away from children" warning, in small print on the back side below the strip to light the match
