In common with other books in this series, the songs are split into managable chunks with a paragraph of analysis and then the music with guitar tab. The CD features normal speed and slowed versions of these chunks.The main drawback of the book is that no song is presented in its entirety so if you want to learn the whole song note for note or the lyric/melody line then you will need to buy another music book of the full score. Which then makes you ask the question is this book really worth it? The main potential benefit is the CD - however, the normal speed recordings aren't terribly helpful, afterall we all own the real thing on CD so there isn't much difference. The slowed down versions probably are reasonably helpful and you can loop them endlessly to practice. But in reality there is no substitute for using a metronome and working out the timings yourself, this is the fastest way to improve your accuracy and skills.
