Excellent quality and realism
Item arrived earlier than estimate, in a protective packaging. Usual LEGO quality, sturdy plastic, easy to assemble if you pay attention to the clear instructions. Couple of assembly mistakes were easy to identify and correct shortly afterwards. The item was as promised, the detailed anniversary version and worth every penny of it. If it hadn't been discontinued, I would strongly recommend it. I spent two enjoyable days building it and I hope many more watching it and explain to children in the family how it worked.

1969 pieces!
This arrived yesterday, and of course I immediately started building. Spent a few hours on it so far, and have managed to build the first stage. I haven't used LEGO since I was a kid (now 47), but as an Apollo geek I had to have this.Not only is it a good, fun distraction and seems pretty accurate, they somehow managed to do it with 1969 pieces. That alone blows my mind.

Incredible Set
The set is incredibly well engineered, beautifully detailed and so much fun to assemble. A must for Lego or Space fans alike.

Solid structure bringing days of happy building
Got this for my 11 yo son for Xmas and he has completed by himself (with only a little help from me to ensure pieces were secure). Very sturdy and heavy...Solid. Very happy with this product

Take your time
Once put together this is fabulous, a little bit fidgety at times but well worth the time and effort putting it together,you wouldn't think it was made of lego.
