Basics Hardware Deluxe Shoe Rack Niche

So just like all the other reviews said, it comes in a thousand pieces and putting it together could be considered as putting a jigsaw puzzle together. But even though at first glance it looks confusing it was actually very easy and the rack itself is wonderful!! Fits so many shoes and boots! I recommend it to anyone wanting a shoe rack, but giving it four stars cause of the way they ship it. I feel like they could make it easier to put together and label the pieces better. But now that its put together I LOVE IT!!

I was really happy with this, until this weekend when it suddenly collapsed. I read the other reviews and was very careful when putting it together. In spite of being very gentle I still cracked a few of the connectors. It works great, has tons of storage space, and fits nicely next to my front door. The customizability is a great feature that others lack! But once it is full of shoes apparently it is too heavy for its design. Four months after I started using it the legs collapsed because the connectors broke. I assume it is from the weight because of how it collapsed (it did not tip over, the legs folded under it breaking many connectors throughout). I would buy it again if the connectors were higher quality. Instead I'm looking for a sturdier replacement.

I had to drink a whole bottle of wine before I attempted to put it together. I opened a box of parts. I had to let my friend help me put it together. Which she succeeded by herself, 2 hours later including a lot of curse words. I had to feed her mimosas after. After I put it in my closet I realized it was too big. Read the measurements. We have drank too much by this time to fix it. You can put this completed thing together a couple different ways. Who have the patience for that? I shrugged my shoulders and began told up my shoes. It is sturdy and hold a lot of them. I loved that it can store boots and the side pockets are great for flip flops/sandals. Overall, good shoe rack. If you love putting together puzzles, you will love this shoe rack.

I have never written a review for anything before in my life. This item was that disappointing. The pieces don't fit together. It took hours. Then when I placed anything on it, the "shelves" instantly collapsed. You could breath on it and it falls apart. Then you try to fix the one shelf and another falls apart. Depending on space, this also takes up a decent amount. Not ideal for a bedroom with little or no closet space. You're much better off with a shoe rack that goes vertical, or even an Ikea bookshelf.Bottom line: It would probably be a better product if the plastic poles actually all fit together and weren't bent or too big or too small to fit into the other pieces. If you have the space to accommodate this and still look organized. Try it? (yes I did measure the space I had before purchasing, it's just very cheap looking).

Absolutely awful! Difficult to put together, plastic pieces were hard to fit in metal poles, one arrived broken and they only give you one extra. After 2 hours of putting this together the last piece to put in broke. Update: we taped it together because taking it apart to send back sounded awful too. In hindsight we should have because within a week the cheap plastic liners ripped and the whole thing collapsed at the base. Pure garbage. We threw it out!

Horrible, cheap item.I do not recommend at all.The package came severely damaged, as well as the items inside.Returning the product has been a bad experience as I had to pay for tape to reconstruct the original box - that was two weeks ago and it’s still pending a refund. Not happy with this purchase now for multiple reasons.

This storage rack has a TON of parts and needs a TON of patience to build. The nice aspect is that it is multi-faceted and can be designed for your unique space, but the directions are awful and it takes a lot of time to sit and figure out the pieces..... Still a nice shoe rack, or organizer. (I used 1 rack for my shoes, and one rack for towels and hats).This rack is ideal for women's shoes. My husbands size 12 shoes did not fit on it.

the delivery was fast. but some pieces of products has torn.it took so long time to assemble.however the final assemble product is so tidy.
