After seeing one in a popular pet shop chain for almost three times the price, I thought i'd have a little look online and viola I came across this. Minus the packaging, the actual cat arch it self identical to the one I almost purchased, if not better quality! The bristles are a little softer and less rough than the expensive one, which I prefer incase my cat walked through and caught his eye or something, if something like that ever did happen. Still firm enough to give your cat a good brush as they walk through though.. just a shame my cat doesn't seem to like it, but he doesn't like anything so nothing personal haha.

It's kind of small, but so is my cat so fits her nicely.Maybe its just my cat, but loved it the first use, then that was it, catnip and all????? (And she goes mental for catnip) She did do exactly as she should have with it through it face, body and all affection for it for a very long time, she was in love with it for sure I thought !!!!But then that was it, but I think it is just her she is so like her mum, gets bored with things not long after and rejects them!!! Ha! no I'm not quite as bad as her, she has done this with all her presents, she really only cares for food and outside adventures.I do know of other cat owners, that their felines do use them and love them regularly....

Got this to stop my cat sneakily using my hairbrush to brush his face (eww!) and he seems to like it. Even when not using it to brush his head (he uses it for this more than brushing his body with it) he likes sitting with his elbows on the carpet bit. Unfortunately I did have to show him how to use it, involving much crawling on the floor pretending to use it on my own head. I guess that makes us even then.......I don't think this'll be something that my cats LOVE, but they do like it well enough. The construction is reasonably solid.

We got this for our cat, he likes bottle brushes so we new this would be an almost instant hit. He is usually shy with new items being put into the house, but with this he was using it before it was all set up.However, there are a few problems with it. The first one being that there was no cap for the cat nip hole, which means we can't put any into it. I didn't realise this till after that cat had already left his mark on it. It's also lighter than what I thought it would be, and the cat has occasionally moved it around in his eagerness to rub his head against it.It's getting 3 stars as although there were faults, the cat does love it.

Not bad. It does tend to tip if he rubs himself against it too enthusiastically, but to make up for that, he loves the base and now claws that instead of the furniture. Result. He doesn't actually groom himself that much on it, but does rub his head and neck around it and seems to consider it his own. He likes to sit next to it. As far as the cat is concerned - it's a winner. It would have that elusive fifth star had the base been heavier and less inclined to tip.

I don't actually own a cat but a lovely little cat comes to my house every day so I wanted to get her an inexpensive little treat and this was perfect! It is much better quality than I was expecting, it has a good carpet base and the very sturdy brush arch is so easy to attach. It came with a little bag of catnip too. It had only been in place for a few minutes when she arrived and went straight onto it! She loves it, scratches on the carpet base, rubs her chin on the brush and sometimes just lays on it but she hasn't yet figured out how it could brush her fur. She took to it immediately and somehow knew it was for her so it was an excellent choice, fabulous value, fast free delivery too so I am delighted (and so is Gladys!). Don't leave the bag of catnip lying around though as it looks just like a bag of weed!!

This is the second arch my cat has had. Both the same product. Despite a few criticisms it is great and the cat cannot live without it. The sticky pads under the base only lasted ten minutes before they fell off. The brush arch came off of the previous base and eventually the red plastic connectors got so damaged that the arch would not fit tight enough for the cat to use it. He missed it so much that we bought a second one.

It took a couple of days for my cat to use it, just as I expected, but its only very occasional that she will bother rubbing it and my other cat can't use it as he's taller then the arch. The catnip was a great addition to get her interested, as she loves to roll over in it, however, it didn't keep her interested in it for long. Due to the way that the base affixes to the arch and as stated - is only pushed together lightly - it meant that if she rubbed against the arch with too much force it moved and at one time actually detached itself from the base.
