I’ve tried so many products for our toddler. Nothing seems to give enough moisture. A friend recommended this line for doing his twists. So I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and the coil custard. (Soufflé hasn’t arrived yet)First, it smells great. Other reviews said it was too strong but I don’t think it is. Second, all the ingredients are allergy friendly and safe for our little guy. (I was very careful not to get it near his face, so I can’t speak to how gentle it is for eyes….but I’m assuming that’s common sense).The wash was good. The detangling conditioner provided better slip than other products I’ve used. Once I started to rinse the conditioner out I noticed how wet his hair still looked. Normally, once you rinse him, his hair drops the water very quickly. But this is the point I noticed how well his hair absorbed this conditioner. His hair actually laid down with little waves for about a minute.After that, I generously applied the leave-in. This left his hair able to stay damp while I put on his lotion and got him dressed. Normally his hair would be totally dry at this point and I’d have to mist him down to do his hair. (Even with using a ton of leave-in from other lines)I was hoping the Twisting Soufflé would arrive with the other products, but it hasn’t yet. So I went ahead and did his little twists with only the coil custard tonight.I’m very happy I ordered this for his type 4 hair. (2 different curl patterns). I spent a decent amount on Carols Daughters but the cream just sat on the hair and didn’t soak in and the milk just doesn’t give enough moisture. (We’ve also tried 3 other higher end lines that are safe for kids and his hair just wasn’t having it.) So we were struggling to keep the hair of an active toddler moisturized. But I think we finally found a winner! I can’t wait to see how he looks in the morning when his silk cap comes off.

Bought this for my partner who has very thick, curly hair. He is happy with the product. He didn't take nearly as long to blow dry his hair after having used this as opposed to other brands he's used before. His hair doesn't smell gross like it has with other products either, which is awesome. His hair doesn't do well at all with this humid, hot weather and he really needed something that was especially made for people with his hair texture. I like the fact that his hair doesn't smell disgusting after his shower and having dried it as it has with previous products 😊 The product arrived inside a sealed plastic bag and didn't leak. The product is very easy to use via pump. His hair was left clean, soft, light weight, moisturized, and tangle-free. We could tell the product contained good quality ingredients.

This would have been 5 stars but the package design is terrible. The shampoo is very thick and this small straw and nozzle makes it almost impossible to pump it out. It's a legitimate issue. I had to take out the pump it came with and replace it with a spout that actually works effectively.

Love this line or brand of hair care for myself and my kids. Kids have very, very thick hair and grows so fast, but makes it manageable. It detangles, softens hair, smells good. Pricey, but a little less to get it here, but well worth it.

I love that this shampoo is slightly thick because it’s for type 4 hair which is usually of low porosity. It helps in the detangling process while cleansing the hair and scalp. The smell is nice, and I feel as though my hair is left with its softness after using. It doesn’t feel stripped of its moisture. I follow with the conditioner of the same product line.

Great product for keeping hair smooth/moisturized - excellent detangler. This is on my reorder list.

I experience a significant amount of hair loss in the front. It didn't happen until I started using this product. It's expensive and I will not be wasting my money, time or my hair on any of these products. It's not for me.

Probably one of the worst shampoos I've ever tried (I'm not overreacting, I promise). I want to think it is not suited for my hair type (4b low porosity), but still I do not understand the hype for this shampoo (I gave it different opportunities to prove me wrong). It just... does not do what a shampoo should do, like, just to mention one, cleanse the hair. It's heavy, heavy and heavy.
