UGG Womens Elsa Boot (6 B(M) US, Stout)

Wow these boots are awesome! I love how they look, and that they're useful (good traction and waterproof, hard to go wrong). These are certainly a winter boot; they are warm! I wish that the sheepskin lining around the calf was removable, and that the shaft was a little wider overall. I'm a skinny girl, with average calves for a chick who's 5'1 and 110 lbs, and these are still a touch snug on me. Making the sheepskin removable would alleviate that tightness for the less arctic fall and winter days that I still love to wear some boots. I deducted the one star for that, and for that last thought below. Overall, gorgeous.One thing though: Because of the zipper design (and this is yet to be tested), it appears that the boot could be waterproof about up to the ankle. Past this point, there is no liner over the zipper, and it doesn't seem likely that an unlined zipper would be waterproof. Not that I plan on wading in them, but things happen.
