Well built clips
I had previously used some clips I got at my local hardware store but they kept bending and turning due to most having only 1 screw to keep the clip steady. With these clips you have 2 screws to prevent the turning and honestly these latch on way better. Very happy with the quality of this product

Very strong, but limited applicability...
I ordered these to latch the lid on a box I built for my chainsaw, mounted to the back of my dirtbike (so I really needed strength). These latches are strong and well-built, but they are only well-suited to latching two surfaces that are coplanar. My lid is at 135 degrees to the part I was mounting the main piece to, and I couldn't get the loop to go over the hook and still be tight while latched when using this way. I ended up "unbending" and filing down the end of the hook a bit so that I could still use it, and it will work like this, but it won't be as tight as I would like. It would be nice if they told you that it's only suited to two pieces that are in the same plane. Mine came with 3/4" screws, I decided to give them a try, but I'll use bolts if they don't hold.

Very well made.
I originally bought these because the guy hand makes them. And I wanted to support his small business. But after actually getting them and seeing how well they are made. These things are phenomenal. They are very well made and heavy duty. The spring tension is really very tight on it. I suspect these latches will last a very long time. Excellent workmanship. Go ahead and buy these. You will not be disappointed. Support small businesses.

They work great on those Chineese mini trucks to hold the seats down.
I have had my ups and downs with Prime. One out of four deals go south with Prime. A windshield that does not fit on my cart to small things that would cost me too much to drive the 15 mile round trip to take back. Your not really getting a deal with them when they send the wrong thing and then you have to take ir to one of their centers to return. I guess they understand that when you cannot physically see it or touch it you are gambelling it will be right.This time they got it right!

High Quality
These latches appear to be extremely high quality. I have used them on an outdoor project in Florida along the Atlantic coast. I will monitor them and will update this review after a few months of exposure.
