I was very excited to try by Sunbello on our 5 day trip to the Outer Banks of NC. This sun shade did not disappoint. On the first evening we tried it there was minimal wind but we staked it into the sand and it provided great protection from the sun. The next day there was a great deal of wind which caused the Sunbello to rotate often and not provide consistent shade. What we realized then was that there are 2 additional holes near the front of the material closest to the center pole that allows you to stake it at the front in order to prevent it from rotating; That was a game-changer…the Sunbello provided great shade that did not move in the wind once we staked it. Best part, it sets up soooo fast. I saw a couple working to put up another type of sunshade. About 3mins into watching them bumble to set up their sunshade and fill bags with sand, my husband came back from the room with our Sunbello. I took it out of the bag, set it up and was back in my beach chair sipping my wine before the couple finished setting up their shade. Another day during this same vacation, an older gentleman walked over to us and asked about the Sunbello because he was impressed at how sleek it looked and how easy it looked to set up as compared to his umbrella which required filing a sand bag.We love this sunshade as you can tell. The overall quality, the light weight of it, the height that allowed for us to stand underneath and the ease of getting it back in the bag are only a few of the reasons we love the Sunbello so much.Hope this helps!

Best purchase I made this year. So simple to put up! One person can do it alone. Great shade. So much better than your typical umbrella! Makes the beach day easy and enjoyable.

This sun shade is a superstar! Light weight, portable and extremely easy to put up. Provides shade for 3 to 4 people. It handles the wind incredibly well. We live in Corpus Christi, Texas. The lesser known windy city! When we moved here we bought a canopy. It's too cumbersome. Traditional beach umbrella blew away all the time. You pop this beauty in the sand, put on the sail and you are done! No weights. No filling sand bags, no chasing your tent down the beach. I can easily do this on my own in just a few moments. I cannot recommend this enough. I absolutely love it.

I own just about every new sun-shade that trends as I love being on the beach but my skin is prone to skin cancer and I have to observe shade and SPF religiously. I purchased the Solbello because other products I own require at least two people to put together, even when they claim that it can be done by one person (I'm looking at you, Shibumi). And because some were good with wind but failed when there was none, or vice versa. This shade worked AMAZING. It was so easy to set up and take down, and the shade it made on the beach was comfortable for two and could have accommodated three or even four chairs. We had wind gusts of up to 20 miles per hour and it didn't even flinch or budge. It didn't make much noise, either. I haven't tried it on windless days yet, but it doesn't seem to require much to keep it floating in the wind. I may buy a second one just to have around for family when they come visit. A++
