Great reading curriculum!
This reading curriculum is fantastic! The videos are helpful and the content is engaging. My 5 year old started this in August and should be finished with it by Christmas. He is learning, retaining information and best of all- reading! The curriculum can actually be printed online for free but I preferred to purchase the workbook instead. Highly recommend!

Great Tool
I have two children who are in 1st grade, one is five the other is seven. My five year old daughter dose great in reading intill it comes down to multiple syllable reading like herbivore. My Son struggles in reading all around. So I picked up this book to help in our home school, we use it as morning work instead of there journaling. We started from the beginning to do go over the letters. They didn’t need to first journey but I feel they enjoyed it. We just finished our first journey. My kids are enjoying this program. I have come to adore the program the free videos make it the one thing that’s hands off me. I plan to use it for my other two children when they are in first also. You can definitely do it in kindergarten however I feel it’s more geared to 1st by the end of the book. Witch is great if you have a thriving reader however if you have a normal or struggling reader I really recommend 1st grade Reading level or even 2nd to really build on fluency. Do not base there reading level on there age or actual grade. Every child learns at different paces!

Thoroughly Used and excellent supplement
I purchased this program for my daughter, who has dyslexia, and it's been a great supplement for continuing to work on her phonics skills at home. Reading requires a lot of effort and repetition for her, but this program provides a solid foundation. The lessons are clear and effective, though I do wish there was a bit more practice material per lesson. That said, it’s not a major issue. Overall, she has gained valuable skills and made great progress on her literacy journey. I’d definitely recommend this program!

Follows Science of Reading
We are only a week in on using this program and I’m 2 thumbs up. I’m a teacher but not fully trained on science of reading for young kiddos, so I was hesitant to jump in by myself. My son, 7, was recently diagnosed with dyslexia after limited progress in reading. We have been doing 1-2 lessons a day so far and he is loving it. Journey 1 is mostly review for him, but the videos that go with it are definitely filling in gaps in his understanding. He’s gaining so much confidence already that he is reading things all over the house and part of the book I read with him last night. He especially loves the mystery word game and asks to play it all the time. Adventure Cait is great. Thank you!

Great for grade K
Treasure Hunt Reading: An Explorer's Guide to Literacy. Very much loved by our 5 yr old. I recommend it for teaching littles to read, as well as refreshing grade K, readying for grade 1. This book progresses gently with accuracy.

Freaking amazing!
My 7.5 yr old has had issues with other reading programs and it's been a huge struggle to get him interested let alone retain the letter sounds. It's so nice that I can pop on one of Adventure Kate's videos while making dinner and my boy just does the workbook on his own.

Love it!!
My daughter is dyslexic, and has been struggling with learning her alphabet and sounds. This program is working wonders with her memory and ability to sound out words.

Love this! Straight forward and enpowering. Only issue wish it was durable spiral bound
I recommend this hightly to those mom's who's kids are behind with learning how to read. It explained the mystery of how to learn to read and then empowered me to support my 9 year old on his journey. We just started but I feel we are on the right journey now, and no expensive tutors needed!
