Flash drive review
Product was as described. I was able to download all my photos and videos from my IPhone to the flash drive and put them on my computer.

Works
It was exactly what I needed. A little hard to figure it out, but I did.

Slide of ports is too loose. Was expecting a snugger fit.

OK drive but bit slower write speed than some competitive models
In the interest of full disclosure, as a trusted and unbiased Amazon reviewer, I was able to request this product free of charge.A decent performing drive but some things to take note of. The case is plastic and there is a plastic slider on top to select either the USB A or C port. The slider doesn't lock so you have to hold it while you are inserting the drive into you laptop/pc port. The drive gets a bit warm when copying a 5.7 GB file - not very warm but it is noticeable and hard to tell exactly since the case is plastic. There is a red light behind the slider which is always on when the drive has power and blinks when the drive is in use.Now for the important stuff. As far as the write speed, I performed the same test that I do with all drives. I copy the same 5.7 Gig file and observe how the write oscillates and take note of the total time to compute an average write speed. If I notice some strange behavior then I copy a larger data set.For this drive the write speed starts off a bit higher than 25MB/s but then quickly settles down to about 25MB/S and the curve is pretty flat - maybe the speed changes by 1 MB or so. For copying a 5.68 GB file the average speed was 25.7 MB/s (3 minutes and 41 seconds). This is significantly slower than some other drives in the same price range where I measure about 35 MB/s performing the identical test.Of course, the real denominator is how well it holds up over time. I only just received the drive. In looking at flash drives read the descriptions carefully. You will see a lot of drives advertised as fast, but when you read the fine print the write speed of 3-5 MB/s is indicated - not fast.

Suhsai 4 in 1 Flash Drive, good but could be improved upon
I included the screenshots of the test speeds and the first one is within the specs that the company gave for USB 3.0 (the first shot is using the USB-C and the second the USB-A) with the second being between the expected 90 for USB 3.0 and the expected 25 for USB 2.0 (for reference the computer I used uses all USB 3.0). I am not sure why the other port would be at half of its rated speed but. In the sense that it functions more or less within its stated parameters there is nothing to complain about. There are things to like about this product, for instance that you can use it with USB-A, USB-C, etc and it is a USB 3.0. What I do not care for is the fact that the is no cap on any kind so if you carry it in your pocket there is nothing to stop lint and debris from getting in the opening of the USB port on the drive, coupled with the lack of a locking mechanism for when you are attempting to insert it in your computer.Overall, I am satisfied with it for those times I might need a flash drive that is versatile as opposed to a fixed USB-A or USB-C drive (though I typically carry adapters with me when needed and this was more of a matter of being curious about it).

Soul is fine but body could use some work
I haven’t had much need for this kind of drive lately since my files are stored in the cloud, but I wanted an extra layer of backup for a recent business trip. Selected this one for its ability to connect to both USB-A and -C and Lightning without an adapter. Price per GB was competitive at time of review. Functioning well so far, reading and writing fast enough for my not particularly demanding requirements. There are a couple mechanical / design issues that could be be improved:1. A metal sleeve covers a plastic body underneath. It feels fragile and awkward when inserting and pulling, like you might bend or break something, especially compared to my prior drive which was all metal.2. Either the USB-C plug or the combination A/micro/Lightning plug must be exposed and unprotected because the metal sleeve isn’t long enough to cover both plugs simultaneously.3. No way to attach it to a lanyard or key ring/chain, so I’ll probably lose it eventually. This item was provided for free without expectation of a positive review. However, gifts create an inherent conflict of interest that can lead to unconscious bias.

Fast USB drive with USB-A and USB-connectors
The USB-C side of the drive is fast hitting sequential read speeds of almost 90 MB/s and good sequential write speeds. The random read and write speeds are also good for this type of drive. For my use, sequential speeds are most important as I use flash drives mostly for backup or archive. Random speed comes more into play if using USB drives as general storage for daily work tasks. The only minus for this drive is the lever used for selecting the connectors has no detent once one is selected., so inserting the drive into either type of port will cause the connector to slip back into the case. This is not a major issue since it’s only matter of holding the lever tightly in place when connecting but is still a small oversight in the design.
