Unlike the original version from the brand GUM these tips don’t fall off in your mouth while in use which presents a choking hazard and is just plain annoying. This brand you might find a little stiff at first. I understand how some might not like that but after a couple uses they soften up. Overall I’m pleased with this product and would purchase it again.

perfect for clearing inbetween the teeth when you don't have time for flossing. Or use it before you flosh to remove larger bits of food.

I was a dental assistant for many years and the Doctor I worked for insisted that this is part of daily routine for spaces between gums and teeth. These are comfortable to use and keeps gums "tough" and gums do not develop deeper pockets when used correctly.

The material on this is way too firm to be therapeutically effective. It was painful and I was unable to use it. Way different than the official GUM product used a few years back.

I've been using the traditional pick with the metal handle and eraser-colored tip (if you remember that color) for years. I thought I'd try these because they looked nicer, and I thought they might be more comfortable to hold. NOT the case. The tip is too thick and too rigid, and the angle of the handle doesn't fit comfortably in my mouth. I wasted my money on two of these. Going back to the traditional picks.
