Review of the 2 man version:Pros- lightweight enough for backpacking- quick & easy to pitch- decent enough room (I’m >6ft4)- great for summer/ warm weather (it won’t overheat)- flysheet is good- zips, seams, build quality all seems goodCons- ground sheet is lightweight (but it is a lightweight tent)- as its summer oriented if the temp drops you’ll get cold- not enough pegs were supplied- packed-away dimensions are too wide for bikepacking.

Pretty decent build quality, just a few loose stiches and a tiny tiny hole in the mesh but nothing to worry about. Very practical tent, tonnes of space when used as a one man tent, incredibly easy to pitch even conditions that were far from ideal. Waterproofing has been ok so far (in just light rain) but i do expect to have to get the seam sealer out once it gets a proper rain test. Overall i'm very happy with it, a really great design.

I love the fact that you can put this tent up in under 5 mins under pouring rain and still have a dry place to hide in after. Inner layer is attached to the outer layer which is what i was looking for mainly.My only issue is, that the inner layer is basically ALL MESH, to keep yourself warm you entirely depend only on the outer layer, which is not optimal and makes this tent more like a 2,5 seasons... can't even say 3.Otherwise it's great, tested it in the rain, kept me dry, leak free all night. Pretty spacious and comfy. Just take with you an extra blanket if you're going to camp in under 10C° temperatures 😌

Easy to assemble and light weight

As an experienced camper I was a bit reluctant to try this as it was cheaper than I expected, took it out in strong winds and it held up incredibly, great for summer with mesh inlining helping with ventillation, managed to fit 2 full adult size single air mattresses with sleepings bags and hiking rucksacks, space on the sides outside inner lining but inside outer shell for small camping table, bags, shoes and drinks etc..Bit loud in the wind but no fault of the tent just the quirks of camping in the wind but held up flawlessly in 40-50mph winds

Tent looks good quality and it’s easy to pitch but the rain fly pole is missing. I’d use it as is if I could buy a separate p later but rain is forecast. Very disappointed as I’m camping next week. Amazon says they can’t send replacement or missing parts. So decided to return and see if they can replace the whole tent asap

Welcome to "Roving Reviews"A nice little tent from the Chinese manufacturer NIGHT CAT,Nice just because of the quality/cost This is the budget version, as the tent is also offered in a nylon, slightly lighter and more expensive.This is a ripstop type material, alloy poled, geodesic tent, and as such it can be free standing.It has two opposing entrances and an all 'nozeeum' mesh internal tent, with a substantial groundsheet.The exoskeleton frame is clipped to the tent, making set up easier than threading the poles through sleeves. There are even small pockets for the corner guylines if not in use. Everything is double stiched and seam sealed throughout. So far no leaks anywhere. Was a bit hesitant about this one as it was a bit of a bargain for what it is but I can honestly say that mine came with everything included, not the lightest tent but small enough for backpacking with, kept me dry in medium rain, don't know about a proper heavy downpour, only bit of advice is to pitch it somewhere sheltered if you're expecting high winds, pitched on top of a mountain and was a bit of a nightmare but that's to be expected with any tent that's not low profile, the outer pitch first is also really nice, remains to be seen how long it will last as I wild camp regularly but for £80 you can't really go far wrong, worst case it can be replaced, highly recommend
