Beats batteries
I got this a few days ago. Works fine on my Nordictrack CXT 1400. Only drawback is the lead is on the short side. So when plugging this in the crosstrainer behind the display the cable only just about long enough to reach the floor. A extension cable solved this issue for me.Reason for four stars is the short cable.

Strong burning smell!
Plugged it in. Strong burning smell from cross trainer display and no longer worked. Not sure if this caused it or not. Beware.

Doesn't work at all. Tried with Nordic track e2, doesn't power up, so back to batteries.
