Aimed at model makers
Although this appears primarily aimed at middle makers, so don’t expect guides on how to build your own car panels, that said I did get a lot of useful tips and techniques from it

Exactly what I have been looking for
I have been trying for several years to get this same book from Busy Bee tools but they finally admitted that it would no longer be available. I have seen it on eBay, but at a much higher price, for a used copy. Pricing and delivery from Amazon were perfect.

One of the better books. It seems manual art books these day show how smart the author is rather than actually show how to do something. This was a lot more down and dirty. It appears this fellow actually does sheet metal work. A plus. Money well spend if you are willing to do a fair amount of reading and without a lot of pictures and charts. Also, it seems it is orientated towards the model engineer. The British are the best I understand and this would go a long way in being instructive and helpful.

First Rate!
Very well written, though the "British English" very occasionally threw my American mind for a loop. Still, the illustrations have always pulled me through. Pretty much exclusively deals with the use of hand tools, rather than the kind of machinery one would find in a professional sheet metal shop, and that was precisely what I wanted. With the understanding that this is definitely aimed at amateurs, rather than professionals, I'm giving it 5 stars.
