KnitPro 100 cm x 15 mm Basix Fixed Circular Needles, Birch

Really good needles. Easy to use but I removed a star because the connecting piece between the needles is plastic and keeps twisting into a loop, getting in the way of knitting, , so i have to keep un-twisting it. Perhaps a project that requires more stitches might have helped but I'm knitting a throw and find circular needles are better when knitting begins to get weighty.

I will admit I haven’t used these yet as I haven’t a pattern that require circular needles yet. I thought I could use them instead of normal 15mm that I needed, but I couldn’t.My review therefore is only based on the materials & construction.The wood is a good quality as are the metal ends.There are no rough edges or joins, so yarn won’t get snagged. The point at which the wire comes from the metal end is also smooth & feels very well attached.

Brilliant delivery service (next day) allowed me to get on excitedly with my new knitting pattern.Never used circular needles before, but it is so easy and these needles are perfect for the job.Highly recommended for the product and the supplier delivery service.Well done.

Took a few rows to get used to knitting with these as I'm used to straight needles, but I love them done a few cushion covers and chunky throws, great needles

I do not recommend this at all. The black cable is a nightmare! It turns in a spiral and is rigid so impossible to get to soften and adapt to the knitting work. Just a big NO-NO. I am selling it away myself as it is not usable for the purpose. Wasted money.

love these needles, the yarn slides really well, they are comfortable to hold and make a lovely noise :) I have never got on with circular needles before but these have changed my mind. I have 3 sets in different sizes and they are all great

Just what I wanted. I'd bought a book entitled Knitting with Big Needles. I wanted to have a try. Awkward but fun.

Ordered same in 12mm, for rag rug, cut up tshirt which I'm knitting, rather than crochet. Work well, help take the weight off the needles.
