The kit impressed me with all that is contained in it. There are 5 types of seeds with plenty of seeds in each packet. A nice varied selection of trees to grow judging from the pictures on the box. The hand tools are quality and not the flimsy plastic things you sometimes get with other kits. The addition of the all in one pH, light and moisture meter is a real bonus which I hope will give valuable data to keep the trees happy. The whole kit comes in a good wooden box with a sliding top lid which makes the whole presentation very professional. I have not rated the ease of growing as I only just got the kit but considering the number of seeds in each packet I am sure that at least several will grow if I follow the instructions in a well written book. The only small gripe I have is that the peat pellets could have been sealed in a bag. They crumbled a bit during transit which has made a dusty mess in the box and over all the contents so got a bit messy taking everything out. Overall I think it would be hard to beat the way this kit is presented and the included contents. Fingers crossed for several successful sets of bonsai trees in a few months time.

Brought as a gift for a friend who loved it - its nicely presented in a nice wooden box and has everything you need to start growing Bonsai trees. Great quality and value for money.

Gorgeous kit with all you need. Including little gardening tools. The seed box is very well made and can hold a decent amount of seeds.The only problem that was when it was delivered the packaging could of been much better, soil had spilled out into the box and all over the contents..they were put in loose and got knocked around in the post so mabe seal them in a small bag and include bubble wrap when packing. This has been bought as a gift for mothers day so I had to open and clean out the box before giving...would of given 5 * otherwise.

Nicely presented product, successful germination of some seeds really quickly, very impressed,nice sturdy box and toolsCons -be very Careful with the pots as they absorb all the water and the pruners don't work very well plus be careful as when I tried to use them they very painfully trapped the skin on my finger

Cute set, however the seeds have a low fertility/germination rate, a lot of them were duds and Albizia Julibrissin was just a sealed empty packet, no seeds. Packet is still sealed and I held it to the light so you can see. This was a gift to someone special so I was very disappointed and embarrassed.
