Must have for training
i purchased these glasses with the intent on training High Performance pro athletes across many different sports, and they have not disappointed. With the various modes, ability to change the speed, and change setting on the fly from my phone while the athlete wears them these are a must have. I've trained for over 15 years and these are a amazing tool to help my athletes with many things to include, reacting, hand eye coordination, proprioception just to name a few.

Great for Hand / Eye Coordination
I have been using these glasses for a few months now as a youth travel baseball coach, and they have increased our solid contact rate, they are hitting higher velo more consistently and are able to see and recognize spin significantly sooner. Definitely will be purchasing more to share for the team!

The Missing Vision: What Reflex Glasses App Needs to Truly Excel
It's a valuable tool to have in your toolkit, and I can definitely see the benefits. However, the app experience is severely lacking and needs an urgent update. It should provide clearer explanations, save user data more reliably, and be significantly more user-friendly. It's been over a year with little to no visible progress, which is frustrating. Attached is a pic, and below are some ways to improve the app.Device connection guidance - Since it shows "No device found," adding a troubleshooting button or guide would help users connect their glasses.Mode explanations - Brief descriptions under each training mode ("Head up training," "Vision obstacle," etc.) would help new users understand their purpose.Settings visibility - The delay and angle settings at the bottom could be more prominent with labels explaining what they control.Onboarding tutorial - Add a first-time user walkthrough explaining how to use the app and connect glasses.Progress tracking - Implement a dashboard or history section to track training sessions and improvements over time.Dark/light mode toggle - Allow users to switch between display modes for different lighting conditions.Search/filter functionality - If there are many device options, adding search would help users find specific devices.Battery indicator - Add a battery level display for connected glasses.Clear status indicators - Improve the connection status display with colors and icons beyond just text.User profiles - Allow multiple users to save their individual settings and training progress.Customizable workouts - Let users create and save custom training sequences with specific modes and durations.Haptic feedback integration - Add vibration options to notify users of training transitions or completed sessions.Audio cues - Incorporate voice guidance or sound effects during training sessions.Accessibility features - Improve screen reader compatibility and add larger text options.Social sharing - Add functionality to share progress or compete with friends.Notification system - Send reminders for scheduled training sessions.Firmware updates - Add a section for managing device firmware updates.Quick presets - Allow users to save favorite configurations for easy access.Help section - Include FAQs, tutorials, and contact support options.Advanced analytics - Provide more detailed performance metrics and visual representations of progress.Connection troubleshooter - Add an interactive guide for solving connection problems.Session scheduling - Let users plan and schedule their training sessions in advanceCurated Workout LibraryBeginner, intermediate, and advanced workout programsThemed workouts (sports-specific, daily focus, quick sessions)Each workout showing estimated duration, difficulty level, and benefitsWorkout Preview FeatureVisual timeline showing sequence of training modesAnimation or video preview demonstrating what to expectClear explanation of goals and expected outcomesGuided Workout ExperienceStep-by-step instructions during sessionsVoice guidance explaining transitions between modesProgress indicators showing completion percentageSample Workouts Examples:"Sports Vision Enhancer": 5 min head-up training → 3 min vision obstacle → 2 min mixed mode"Daily Focus Builder": Progressive difficulty across modes with increasing challenges"Quick Reaction": Short high-intensity intervals across all training typesWorkout CustomizationAbility to modify duration of each segmentOptions to adjust difficulty parametersSave modifications as personal variantsResults SummaryPost-workout performance metricsComparison to previous sessionsSuggested next workouts based on progress

Worst purchase ever. I buy a lot of tech gear and am generally pretty tech savvy but this was a nightmare. Virtually nothing worked as advertised. Don’t waste your money!

You can't pay for the ability of prediction and anticipation until now
Being "that guy" you know the one, Technology over intangibles. It has finally paid off, these glasses allow me to see the pickleball court in such a way more experienced players are left scratching there heads like how did he see that, where did that shot come from, he was waiting there before the ball got there. Looking to get an edge I came across these Applied Vision technology glasses, with an easy to use app that allows various customisation from one eye being closed two both eyes flashing at various speeds these glasses are a game changer wether you are on the court or field. I use my Applied Vision glasses for pickleball training not only for myself also clients we are happy to report the ball seems to much slower, we can not only determine the spin of the ball while in flight the enhanced peripheral vision we've gained is giving us the opportunity to make better decisions and win more games. Being able to see gaps on the court while not actually looking at them is invaluable because now I can focus on the ball contacting the paddle. The headband and nose piece are a little awkward but not a deal breaker, I will trade that for possible results any day and that is what these glasses provide. Positive results.

Pretty good value for money
I did some research into different stroboscopic glasses and these were by far the cheapest option. For the most part, that manifests in a couple minor annoyances - they'll sometimes turn on while charging and they're built simply so the curvature isn't ideal and that makes them less comfortable than they could be.But alternatives are on the order of 2-3x the price, and dropping $300 on a pair of glasses to train hand-eye coordination tasks is a tall order even if, like me, you're relatively used to questionable spending in pursuit of small advantages.Anecdotes aren't data, so the value of my personal experience is limited, but the research to support this technology exists and I have definitely seen results. If you're 100% certain that you want stroboscopic glasses and you're going to use them for a long time, it's probably worth considering the more expensive options to see if they're worth the extra price. But if you want to try things out first, I'm not aware of a better starting point.
